hands down some of the unhinged japanese media ive seen.
I think its part of a bigger variety show but i watched through compilations so idk what the actual show is called

Probably Legion. It has super powers but it's not about superheroes. It's about mental health. In some ways it's like having mental health problems.

This video doesn't touch the surface on the strangeness.

There's also something really obscure called Wonderfalls. Inanimate objects start talking to a woman which causes strange things to happen. Has a lot of comedy.

There's a lot of weird anime so I'll just mention two of the first really weird ones I saw.

I remember borrowing from my local library in my teens. So much of the content would not fly today at all. And while Kids In The Hall and Mr Show can get kind of raunchy, they come from a much nicer place in some instances

Ive been to Little Britain live it was great. And it would offend just about everyone nowadays because it mentions everything that current agendas do not want mentioned.

So good the BBC banned themselves from showing it and it got removed
