What is the longest game you have played on SEGA consoles?

Shining Force 3, over one hundreds hours not counting replays.
A little more than 80 in Black Matrix Ad, all the main heroines.
Skies of Arcadia between 60 to 70.

The red orb straight up tells you where to go next though.

Phantasy Star Online is potentially infinite with Online and even when you finish the game one time in single player you have access to upper difficulty levels to increase the replay value.
Yes, Tikal does tell you were to go next. However the hub world is small and quite samey, and its not obvious what can be interreacted with and what can't. Like all the stores are the same but you can go into just one for example. I remember being lost the first time I played it, only the first time though. It's hardly like Shenmue levels of it, I just remember being lost the first time in sonic adventure from wandering around tyring to trigger cutscenes to advance the story when it wasn't obvious.

SEGA titles from the 90s and 2000s can be seen as mostly Arcade like experiences considering the cross market they catered to, with aim of "bring the arcade home" which some can say lead to their doom partially.

These titles are still enjoyable, but it made me wonder what the longest experiences on SEGA systems are for the time frame, and how did it make others feel?

For me, RPGs, and adventure games held the longest, with Skies of Arcadia, Shenmue and the like being some of the obvious choices. Both grate titles and i had a blast playing and will be revisiting soon.

What are some of your experiences?
Spiderman on Sega genesis......never finished yet so it's longest.

I spent numerous hours on the Oasis games. Beyond Oasis and Legend of Oasis were absolute gems for me. Those games pushed me to the Ys games by Falcom. I don't play anything turn-based so finding lengthy games for me isn't a priority. I did also spend alot of time on both Shenmues. I haven't played Phantasy Star Online, even though I have wanted too.

Grate choices! Did you replay Baroque to the point that you figured out what path you needed to take? i know that took me a week to figure out making notes. But then i am dumb ^^;;

Regarding Shining Force III, i definitely count them as one, for me they should have been released as a set, and being split up may have been a result of the Saturn being dropped and the company moving on to the Dreamcast.
I never beat Baroque...yet
I got to the 10th floor, fucked up and had to start over.
I agree about SFIII (Shining Force, not Street Fighter lol)
