What is The Best looking NES Game?

The most common answer I see is Batman: Return of The Joker, but I want to hear what the people of RGT would consider to be some of the best looking games on the system, either on a technical or artistic level.

I’d say the original Ninja Gaiden. Sure the gameplay isn’t all that special looking but you don’t see cutscenes this detailed and good looking even on the Game Boy Advance. Pretty impressive for ‘87

Zombie Nation is another one I'd put up there for best looking. If we looking for stuff on a technical level a lot of the post 90' games could qualify.

I've always thought Little Samson is phenomenal in every regard.

Also, a nod to deja vu. Given the limitations, I think it looks great as a point and click. Also Shadowgate.

Dragon Quest IV (the final boss has really impressive animations for each phase you defeat)
So many Sunsoft games
Megaman (especially 3/4 to 6)
SMB 3

OK just stick with me here. Since someone already mentioned Blaster Master,
I'm going to say dragons lair. Sure it might be one of the worst games EVER, and
I'd rather have my fingernails pulled out and turpentine pored on them than
play this game, they DID make it very visually appealing.

probably paid a butt-load of money for that license.
I mean its quite a departure from this...

Kirby's Adventure

• Batman: Return of the Joker, obviously. It's just too beautiful for 8-bit.
• Batman was impressive as well - as a kid I was shocked to see that Batman's sprite was behind the guardrails in the Axis Chemical Plant - you didn't see that kind of attention to detail outside Sunsoft.
• Shatterhand is graphically impressive, and a lot of fun, too.
• Mega Man 5 & 6 were pretty darn pretty, too.
• Ninja Gaiden III, obviously.
• Battletoads was a seriously good-looking title.
• Castlevania III is graphically beautiful with some great effects.
• Kirby's Adventure....but then it was a 6MB cart.
• Metal Storm had tons of parallax scrolling without slowdown
• Crystalis had the graphics I'd wished The Legend of Zelda had.
• Mighty Final Fight was Capcom perfection.
• Wurm & Nightshade had great color usage.
• VICE: Project Doom just looked good.
• Journey To Silius, obviously.
• Willow had some amazing animations going on.
• G.I. Joe had some impressive scrolling effects that seem mundane today, but back then absolutely was not.
• And, finally for me today, The Immortal.
