Thank you guys for the help mednafen is realy good but its a shame that this emulator dont run CHD files, and i thought this emulator is hard to config but actualy is really easy if you use mednaffe.

right now im installing sega saturn roms and if one of my roms is not compatible with my emulator or dont work at all i will delete it.

(and im talking about you grandia for sega saturn your FMV cutscenes are FUCKING SLOW on bettle and i hope it wont do the same thing on mednafen.)

I remember using SSF to emulate Assault Suit Leynos 2, back when I started looking for emulators a long time ago. It was my first experience with Saturn emulation.
Nowadays Beetle Saturn on Retroarch works pretty well for the stuff I want to play.

I have been playing Shining Force 3 on emuhawk, seems to run pretty good without much messing with settings.

I´ve only used Mednafen but it works pretty well!
Sadly, its not perfect

How about the performance of Mednafen for emulating Saturn?
I wonder if my underpowered Intel mobile CPU could handle all games well, especially 3D ones. On which specs you have run it well?

I finally could setup Mednafen with Mednaffe. I've took one day tho. I've got the best performance on my potato hardware there. Currently planning to do a dive on Saturn games since I never owned one.

Beetle Saturn works for me well. Yeah, you have to fiddle with its setting but its nothing too major. It just works ™

I use Mednafen exclusively for Saturn emulation and I have such a smooth time playing it, I will say to avoid using Kronos, for the love of god, do not use that godawful pile of shit. It is rancid pond scum on top a stagnant pool
