jump force, i thought it was gonna save the anime arena fighter genre but it instead became shovel wear, a buggy clanky mess that broke my 15 yr old heart.
I get having expectations, but why would you think that? Even if it turned out good or decent, it wasn't gonna save the arena fighter genre. I already knew that from the get go. The genre was already kind of getting stale at that point. The only one I like is Kill La Kill IF. Arc system managed to do something unique with it, despite the short roster.
Star Fox Zero. I only found out later that you can only use the wii u gamepad and not a regular controller. The good news is that I was able to return the game because I hadn't opened it after seeing several reviews. I got my money back and put it towards something better. I highly doubt Nintendo's ever gonna port this game at all, but if they do make it so you can play with an actual regular controller, and not force to use a gamepad.
Modern Warfare 2 (2009). They took a game that was previously mostly grounded game, and turned it into a 24/Jason Bourne/Michael Bay schlockfest for the story mode. It's where I really stopped caring about the single player, and the majority of these games, and when I realized I didn't like military shooters, all that much. Especially cover shooters that were just copying
COD or
Gears wholesale.
I do admit that I have softened up on the game a little bit because of the remaster, but I still don't particularly care for most Call of Duty games. The only single players I like are
Infinite, COD4, WW2, and
Vanguard. Advanced Warfare is okay, but I'm more than likely not playing that again.
