What is a film that you consider to be very hard to watch for you and don’t have the courage to watch it?

For me, it’s probably the semi-obscure psychological thriller film, One Hour Photo. It is probably one of the most psychologically haunting films ever. It’s pretty fucked up and a mindfuck. I can take dark things, but there is a certain limit I can take. What’s even more scarier is that this film sort of predicted the tragic mental state Robin Williams was going through before his tragic death. So yeah, this film is probably good, but it’s too fucked up for me to watch. And I’ve watched Se7en and Saving Private Ryan (great films btw).

Pretty much all slasher flicks make me uncomfortable to the nth degree. Not sure if just 'scared' is the right word here.

I love psychological horror, but I can't stand things like Nightmare on Elm Street or the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I want to watch Alien but the chestburst scenes also inflict the same thing on me.

Films that cleary were made by and for psychos, like A Serbian Film and Melancolie Der Angel. To watch movies like this not only you need courage but also a lack of self love. I'm good. And i have watched a lot of gruesome and fcked up movies, like Human Centipede and Suicide Club. But these two that i mentioned in the beggining? Never

Saw 3. specifically the Rack Trap scene. i can watch any of the other movies just fine, but that scene just fucks me up

For me, I wouldn't rewatch a movie if its boring, or, if it has nothing to say. I'd rather not name them, since I can tell people don't have the stomach for them.

I can see artistic value in most movies, including extreme cinema, so, shock value isn't an issue.

I actually just watched One Hour Photo this year. I remember hearing about it but never watched it. Anyways, I enjoyed it but it definitely left me feeling uneasy.

While I love horror films including slashers, I can't watch stuff like Saw and Hostel. It's just too much for me. Same with Terrifier.

Damn.

I watched "IT" at seven and it kind of fucked me up, but that would have turned me into a psycho xD
That’s a pretty cool coincidence.
I didn’t watch IT but I had teenage cousins that tricked me into watching a YT vid with a Pennywise jumpscare. It gave me a fear of clowns for years.

A Serbian Film, anything by Lar Von Triers, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The recent movie "The Drama" about a couple that is getting married, but before for fun they are asked to tell each other the worst thing they have ever done, and the bride to be discloses something so awful that it just about spoils the relationship with her soon to be husband. Do not delve to much into your significant other's past, folks. Only pain lies there.

The Green Mile, it's great but i haven't been able to see it more than once, easly the unfairest movie i've seen, i can't bear to see one of the Nicest characters in fiction as victim of the movie's setting racism and his cruel ending, i just... can't

Grave Of The Fireflies.

Fuck. That. Movie.
Don't ever watch Threads, then... >_>

Really, any sort of film that deals with warfare is pretty terrifying. I was actually just thinking about this the other day, that, to me, true "Horror" films are the ones that have to do with history and real life. Or, what could theoretically happen in real life if we, as a species, were actually stupid enough to follow through with a series of incredibly poor decisions.

But, yes, Threads gets my vote. Not just a movie about nuclear war, but the aftermath, and the slow march towards extinction that humanity would endure in the decades that followed.

Grave of the Fireflies may stick with you, but Threads will absolutely haunt you 😨
