What if one morning you woke up and NSO had every single game Nintendo ever made from the Color TV Game consoles to the Wii U and 3DS and every Sega Genesis/Mega Drive game from all regions all legal hurdles be damned?

What game are you playing first?

I'm playing the two Danball Senki games that didn't get a western release, W Chou Custom and Wars.

I think I'd still be dreaming.

On the other hand I'd play the Virtual Boy, N64DD, SNES Satellaview and Famicom Disk System libraries.

All it would need to be worth the price is to have everything on the consoles it already did at the start. Not the miniscule, cherry-picked selection that they went with. Hell, if it only had the entire NES line-up, that'd be a terrific value!

Nothing because NSO emulation is bad and the Switch itself has a lot of latency.

NSO is a joke. They expect you to keep paying them monthly but the selection of games is paltry, even for Nintendo properties. And they barely update with new titles. They could be using that income to bring Japanese exclusive retro titles and making them accessible but they rather keep access low so they can resell rare titles at premium prices through remakes.

I would play Wii Fit.

Not because it was a good game or anything but because I think it would be really funny to see how NSO would emulate this game. There is no Wii Balance Board equivalent for the Switch. What would they do in this speculative reality? Similar deal with any game with weird peripherals. Lets see what the new version of Donkey Konga would be like.

The best would allow only one game per week for people not subscribed.

It would incite to play obscure games people wouldn't try even with emulation.

And I wish they could allow something a la carte even if it's less than 2-4 bucks per months.

The bare minimum for that service would be being able to play all retro Mario, Zelda, DK, Star Fox, Metroid, Kirby and Fire Emblem games but they can't even hit that low bar.

Don't care. While Nintendo is anti-consumer i don't care if they have every game in the universe i care about while they sue and threaten fans who just want to make fan-games.
