Overwatch 2 for a while.... on an Xbox Series S, good fun, seems to be fairly balanced at them moment, matchmaking can be awful at times, and I have comms disabled since people can´t seem to be nice

Other than that, I just got into Forza Horizon 5. I'm not really a racing game kind of person, but I really like it, driving is fun, the weekly objectives are rewarding but I think that most of all, I just love the map, I may be extremelly biased, but I love driving and seeing sports I have been to in real life recreated so faithfully in the game

Tokimeki Memorial: Beneath the Tree of Legend (SNES)

I'm playing a lot Elminage Original on vita, continuing my Pokemon Crystal's adventure, playing Skyrim again, and finishing the Kingdom Hearts 2 post-game

I legally and completely legitimately obtained Metal Slug Tactics tonight, jumped in expecting to play maybe an hour; ended up playing for almost 3. Highly recommend it, it's so far a really good 'simple but yet deep' type of gameplay that encourages moving around and making big plays rather than playing things safe.

A Ninja Jajamaru RPG collection was on PSN for $3.50 this week, so I picked it up (along with Kill la Kill if for $2.50, schwing!) and have been playing the first game included, Ninja Jajamaru: The Ninja Skill Book. It's a standard 8-bit Famicom JRPG in the vein of Dragon Quest, and really doesn't do much different from the norm, but I don't believe I've ever beaten an NES JRPG before, so I figured this was as good as any. I actually have a small bit of fondness for the Ninja Jajamaru series – the original arcade game, Ninja-kun, is very cute and fun, and I happen to like having a JRPG with a far-Eastern influence rather than a Western fantasy one.

The game is pretty good so far, but does take some grinding. Fortunately, on @Ajderniz 's recommendation, I've been listening to MrEdders123's documentaries during each grind sesh, and it's actually very relaxing. (Those videos are great!) I like the game's art style, too, and it has a silly sense of humour that's highly appreciated. I'd really like to finish this – I'm only about 5 hours in, but I'm having lots of fun, and I look forward to what's up next.

Been personally playing an older adventure game called Jack Keane. It's got charm and that nostalgic adventure atmosphere to it that I quite enjoy. It's got some jank in the movement and camera isn't the best, but I'm enjoying the ride so far.

Started playing rise of the golden idol after finishing the first game(case of the golden idol). Love the games.

Terrible at deduction but i love the genre.

Started a new save file on Skyrim (PC). I am playing it as a Nord and later down the line I will start Morrowind and Oblivion as a Dunmer and a Imperial I also been playing a lot of 2D sidescrollers on PC like Cogen Sword of Rewind. It's like Mega man zero but with the rewind mechanic of the sands of time

Been fully hooked with Darkwood, a game that truly taps into that primordial fear of being alone in the woods at night where everything is hostile.

i was very surprised by how they handle certain stuff, only the map layout gets randomized while the objectives remain the same, it makes you always have a goal in mind while constantly throwing curveballs on each replay, its great.

Polywar on Android, Fighting Force 2 on Dreamcast, Strider 2 (I've finished it now) on PS1, Dungeon Master Theron's Quest on Nec PC Engine.

Been doing some Super Metroid randomizer runs. Besides that been bouncing between some Castlevania games (Rondo, Bloodlines, and 3 all kicking my ass) and trying out Gunman's Proof for the SNES

Black Ops 6 womp womp. but also good shit like Crash Bandicoot 1 for like the 90th time, and I recently got Beyond Good and Evil. Never played it but it's really dope. I also got Atomic Heart but haven't gotten deep into it yet. This is all on PC. Crash being the N. Sane Trilogy version. but I get bored sometimes and just load random old stuff up.

Black Ops 6 womp womp.
Do you like this? Are you playing online? I've briefly considered it, but apparently the single-player campaign has issues? Is the online more fun than Warzone? Can you briefly explain the rise and fall of the Byzantine Empire to me in no more than ten words?

It's what you'd expect from modern Call of Duty. Egregious practices and gameplay "features" to push overpriced mtx that don't even look cool. Campaign that doesn't really push any boundaries and plays it safe with a not very interesting story that tries too hard to be badass. Multiplayer is fun when the Skill Based Matchmaking isn't fighting against you doing any better than a 1.5 K/D, or people being the most heinous individuals because anonymity gives them a false sense of security. I haven't liked Zombies since Black Ops 3 but it seems okay. Warzone is Warzone, garbage. All in all, I definitely wasted 90 dollars that could've gone to literally anything else, but I like playing with my friends. Constantin I strut, Mehmed II's cannons went brrrr, Constantinople gone.

I'm a big fan of AliceSoft's games, and I've already finished (or almost) Sengoku Rance, Kichikuou Rance, Rance 6, Daibanchou and Only You. Windows games, you might say. Nahhh... They've recently been ported to Android (via xsystem4 apk), and it's on tablets where I've enjoyed them the most. Sure, sure, they're exactly that kind of games... ?

Well there's Metal Slug Tactics, I'd been looking forward to it for years now but it's a real let-down.

On the other hand, Hades II continues to be fun, Balatro is the best game of the year, and I played through Mario 3 and Super Mario World again.

Oh, also finished Metaphor: Refantazio, which I almost skipped because of it's gibberish title. Not bad! The latter half of the game doesn't really live up to the first, but by that point you're locked in, and the Persona style time system is really good at keeping you marching forward, so I imagine most people are are resolved to finish it by then regardless.

I’ve been playing… God, muwahahahaha! For real though, I’ve been scouting out 3d platformers to play and review that might have stuff from older games that act as a homage and I landed on a few ones that seem to scratch that itch. Won’t reveal what it is, it’s been my secret project for the past couple of days nyahahaha

In a bit of a rut right now... run of Knights of the Old Republic 2 is fizzling out, even with the Restored Content patch/mod there's a distinct lack of polish running through the game and the game is shaking out to be painfully linear. At the moment I can't find anything to replace it, I have/had a few ideas for games to try/retry but there's issues big n small keeping me away from any of them.
Otherwise, I've been chipping away at the Makai Toshi SaGa 2 DS remake for the last few months. It's not as open as I'm told the later SaGas are, but it is at times challenging, which is nice.

How about Jade Empire? or Neverwinter Nights if you are itching for some Good Bioware games.

My understanding is that the base campaign of Neverwinter Nights sucks, and the expansions aren't much better, so it's off the table until I've amassed some user-made campaigns for it (Swordflight in particular seems well-regarded). Unfortunately Jade Empire doesn't interest me at all.
I'd like to clarify that I picked up KOTOR 2 mainly cos it was one of those supposed cult-classic flawed gems from Obsidian. Never been a big fan of BioWare stuff.

dynasty warriors 8 extreme legends i love those games with all my heart and i want to go back to the days they were still great.

Meeting a fellow fan of Warriors franchise was certainly not on my bingo card for December, but a pleasant surprise nonetheless. ::biggrin
Big fan of 8, I grew to love it more on a recent playthrough.

I've been trying to get peace walker's true ending lately. The extra op ai battles are quite difficult though, so I've hit a bit of a wall with it.
