I watched for Example that Movie on VHS Tape here just the Trailer.
An uncle of my mom had lots of VHS that copied from films he rented (and later DVDs), and had a home cinema with a projector and big sofas.
Whenever we visited, he'd put some adventure movie for me to watch.
It was so cool!
Sadly I watched alone or he fell asleep

I came out around the same time as the 2600, but I've never felt like I'm a part of a generation. I went Gen X because I've never heard of Xennials, that sounds like some made up subgenre? I mean, I guess it's all technically made up.

My family is largely older than me, and disconnected.
Didn't have much friends, the neighborhood kids were shitty people, or there weren't people my age, had some friends in school, but.
So I received influence from older people around me like my parents, older siblings, uncle, grandparents.

Same but I did not feel to much disconnected to my Sibling and My Mother as because of that I could Play Ps1 Games and the Og Gameboy, but I felt disconnect with my fellow Kids

Well apparently I was more Mature than them, but I probably was just a huge Shy Introvert that did not want to bother, especially with all the screaming running stuff. So I mostly just walked around in the breaks and waited till I could go home to play on my Ps2.I did have a clique if you could call it that later one with two em friends where I pretended to be hip and Modern, but in truth I was quite Old Fashioned especially gaming wise.Oh and before I forget sadly Introvert Behavior was probably not as known back then so the Teachers and People in the Kindergarten thought there was something wrong with me for not making friends.Strangely enough much younger kids liked to hang around with me maybe because I acted so mature and filled some Big Brother Role for them but who knows.

i was born in 1995. i feel at home with most generation millennials and generation z people. i always try to understand the mindset and perspective of any given person regardless of their age
i hope to never be the out of touch old person who cannot connect with the next generation

I was born in 2001, so I belong to Generation Z and I must admit that it is not a great generation in social terms, but it is in technology both hardware and software, yes. like the Game Boy Advance (Although I only played it for emulation), GameCube, Windows XP (Operating System) and XBOX (although I never played it).

Born in 1985. What do I remember, vhs, laserdisc, mini dv camcorders, polaroid cameras, crt TVs, win 95 to XP fuck Windows Vista whole load of bull shit, cassettes & cds, cd-r & dvd-r, mini-dvd-r, zip drives, MTV music videos & tv series, netscape navigator, neopets, pokemon, pogs, magic the gaterhing, anti-skip cd players total bullshit, mp3 players, fax machines, zune, iPod, red screen of death. How many p2p programs do your remember? Bonzai buddy that asshole was a spy, 1-800-COLLECT, Y2K bug scare, blaster, benjamin, sasser, nimda worms, spybot: search & destroy program, Kazaa, Sega Channel, Nokia cellphones. Did anyone have a similar program installed on their school computers called CyberPatrol or even remember it? Just ctrl+alt+del to close it & browse whatever you want didn't really work. MS-DOS of course, I know some commands such as mkdir, cd, ren, etc. Javagameplay, joe cartoons, ebaumsworld, stickdeath, I still remember shock sites which I'm sure some are still on the net. Nicktoons, Cartoon Network, old school satellittle TV when you had to program it to tune to a specific galaxy the dish would move east & west, nero burning rom & discjuggler, keygens, winamp it really whips the llama'a ass, 56k dial-up modem because you love to hear the static pulse, AOL you got mail, moviefone, etc. Who else had to call the 800 # to talk to an Indian to literally lie & bullshit your way because you had used the cd-key to winXP more than once, "calls are outsourced." Bill Clinton did have sex with Monica Lewisnky but he is wearing her underwear, OJ Simpson did murder his wife, Heaven's Gate, Waco, TX siege of the relgious cult of Branch Davidians led by David Koresh, Oklahoma City bombing years after. Anna Nicole Smith married for love just for the money. I could ramble on & on, literally write a book of what I remember.

I also remember VHS, never owned a LaserDisc but parents had a camcorder, poloroid cameras, crt TV. Had MS-DOS before Windows 95. Our 2nd computer Compaq Presario came with a bundle of games including Journeyman Project. Oh and the Quicktime Weezer music video for Buddy Holly that was something else back then! Vista did suck lol. Yep I would buy cassette singles and had a few albums on my portable walkman. MTV, VH1, MuchMusic.Com, Now!

I remember NetScape and ICQ. Neopets was never my thing lol. Played Pokemon in middle school, had the cards and GB game (Blue) and would battle using the link cable. I also had the first gen Digivice and would battle as well. My cousins were in to Magic: The Gathering. Had a anti-skip CD player that would always skip. MP3 player iRiver 250MB.

Oh boy PSP clients lets see...Napster, Kazaa, Sharebear, Soulseek, and more. EbaumsWorld and NewGrounds were my thing. Remember that game of that obese man that would roll down the street? I remember the Limp Bizkit Nookie flash video as well! I still use WinAmp to this day IDGAF, remember the skins? Yep Keygens, disc juggler. Had dial-up 56k still recognize the annoying sound lol. Had AOL (America Online).

Around that time I got into making web pages on GeoCities, AngelFire, Homestead learning HTML and CSS. A few years later I used Windows Movie Maker a lot for splicing together Anime Music Videos (AMVs) with MP3 songs I would share on p2p clients. Remember anime fansubs? mIRC was one of the few places to download them and Torrents.

'79 I landed here, mistaking this planet for a giant urine taste-test fest. just had to see this for mehself. I overheard 2 Earthlings arguing over shit that was unintelligible even after using my 8.9.99998v translator. I threw it in their pool on a no-regrets whim. I heard also some WAHHHH wuh wuh... WUH-WAHHHHH comin from inside a different window in their house. I had a transparency-merge device as weLL, which I also considered throwing in the pool. so I tried a terribLy uncoordinated throw n it took out the WAHHster's window. I jumped in to retrieve, but landed on it - it went off n n next thing I know, I'm on my back with that loud "WAAAAAAAAHHHHH" comin out meh damn mouth.

thus began my ramshackle excuse for a surreal life of peaks n valleys. HIDDEN VALLEY RANCH omfg wtfwtfwtf FrFrFr... Gen-X... a fitting categorization, for I haiL from the planet XpectFuckaLL... don't look at me like that, I didn't name it!! if I named my planet it would be named 'UhhNo.' n I would rename Earth as '...Whoops!'

more to this wastefuL bastard saga to come... if not here, then tagged on some subway waLL that we don't even have here. hey, that never stopped me.

I had a Compaq Presario from the old RadioShack era, it came with Microsoft Encarta & Win98 SE, I remember modifying that piece of shit, lol. I got a PSX to USB adapter back in the day. When "plug and pray" the drivers worked, lmfao. I remember mIRC that was the shit, a buddy of mine had a modified 768k dsl modem got the hookup with p2p stuff. I forgot about divx, xvid, avi files, those were the days. Remember vcd's & svcd's ? Who dl a renamed mp3 or video file as a prank? That was hilarious.

btw the reason for the wiLd post with no listing of what I grew up with n things I saw rise n faLL as they happened is cuz....

on a lot of other posts I've described meh 80's n 90's arcade journey n my adventures in the pro fighting game scene n archaic computer brands phasin out in the wake of the console wars... I'll try to do it again in diff words soon - doubtlessly I've never come close here to telling every story my weird life featured...

Born in 84, so technically millennial... Although, i Don't connect at all with people my age or younger(for the most part) I tend to interact more with older gen X people and Baby boomers... I especially don't care about the obsession, with technology of the younger generations.
