For me, it’s fighting games. I usually get my ass gloriously kicked in Street Fighter, Tekken, and Mortal Kombat. It’s mainly because of the large amount of complex button combinations in those games and because of brutal A.I in later stages. The only fighting game series I’m usually good at is Smash Bros. Mainly because it has a simpler control scheme, and it’s easier to pick up and play. I’m also not good at RPGs, mainly because they are RNG based and because managing your inventory and planning out your battles can be stressful.

RTS games are probably my biggest blind spot. I normally like demanding genre's like fighting games and shmups, but I didn't really play a ton of RTS growing up, so I feel like I never really developed much skill for them. Even the one's I put time into to learn I usually end up just average at best, and I consistently struggle to multitask between multiple elements like farming resources, making buildings, raising an army, attacking/defending etc.

Rhythm games are my worst, slow tempos, I can take, anything faster and I easily crumble.
Fighting games, I'm decent, but only in the more slower/methodical ones, like Samurai Spirits or Last Blade, plus The Asuka 120% family of games( also its clones ) and AVG 2.

I could only do the the tutorial in the on those games. The only one i can think for, that I do a bit better is the K-on one probably because of the notes orientation is easier in my mind(left to right).

What i can think of is rock band unplugged for psp. i could see myself playing this.

Fighting games, my brain can not do combo timings under pressure.
Twitch shooters, but that's an age thing I used to partake in Quake 3 & Tribes back in the day.
No not that twitch, yes I know Tribes is a FPS-Z but no one with a life uses that term.

The older I get the more I want comfort. Less mouse and keyboard and more Xbox controllers.

Puzzles, Fighting, City manager and RTS.

I never buy puzzle focused games because they are not fun for me.

Reason I never buy fighting games at full price because im not blowing 59.99 just to get my ass handed to me by random people. So if there is a fighting game I wanna play I wait for steam sale and get it for 10-20 euro. becuse I think that´s a fair price for only using single player that not that repayable.

Only city manager I do enjoy most is the Anno series because it´s not that punishing if you suck at it. Sure I do own Sim city 2000 and and sim city 4 but I rarely play them but when I do I suck allot and just mess around mostly.

I suck att RTS but I still love them allot but thanks to AI opponents sucks I can have a good time but ask to play against me no thanks.

sports and rhythm games. I´m awful at those games. Give me a rpg and everything is fine

Rhythm games. I couldn't even fight Amon in Yakuza 0 because the game gated some side stories behind its disco minigame.

Puzzles and planning/managerial games.
It took me longer than an average guy to finish puzzle games, my smol brain is ill equipped for complex thinking.
I'm actually doing okay if I want to in city planning or tycoon games, it just that I can get easily distracted making dumb contraptions and silly projects I ended up ignoring all the other important aspects of the game.

I'm dogwater at fighting, and rogue games. Although, I made a friend in GBVSR and we play from time to time; while Baroque ~Yuganda Mousou~ is the only roguelite game I actually play, and very much fascinated and obsessed by the lore (constantly making reference to this anywhere I go).

Mainly RTS games because I just like looking at my little guys so I’m slow as molasses.

Also BEYOND rusty (corroded?) at fast-paced action games like Ninja Gaiden and DMC.

For me it's fighting games and rhytm games but I still like them.
Same, Fighting and I've noticed a significant drop in skill with FPS games compared to my prime in the old Halo 3 multiplayer days.
The old Sharingan has faded lol

Hard to say?

I'm not particularly good with platforming that's all.......it's more of certain mechanics than full on games

I'm confident enough in my relentless desire to beat the game no matter how even if i end up with high blood pressure Sudden Strike Resources War flashbacks

Its all about patience and trying again and again and changing strategies depending on the situation , you can't go into Silent hill 1 expecting to be a killing machine Rambo-like badass then say "man I'm bad at this survival horror thing" or give up within the first 20 minutes of getting stuck doing a puzzle.

If you lose or think you're bad at a game just stick to the basics , sticking to the basics and having a solid understanding of the basics is what matters the most only once you master the basics you can actually succeed in attempting more advanced stuff.

Fuckin' all of 'em, homie
Same here, I was never good at any games.
Of course I finished many of it, but mostly on lowest possible difficulty or with cheats. I try to just enjoy a game, not being a cyber sports champion or something.

But you know what, I had a chance to play arcades and NES style brawlers against kids who never seen anything else than mobile shit like “steal the brain rot”, and even with my lame skill… I LOOK LIKE MASTER YODA TO THEM. ::star-war
