Really not much of a personal misgiving on my part, but I love Killer Is Dead. Critics were really mixed on it and tried to blame Suda51/Grasshopper for the Gigglo mini games, but they had nothing to do with that and didn't even want them in the game. That was Kawada publishing who forced them to put the mini game in there. They're not bad nor offensive, but I don't care much for them either. I only did them once to get the upgrades, and that was it. Otherwise, it's a great hack and slash action title, and still has the best combat out of all the grasshopper games. At least until maybe Romeo Is A Dead Man. The game has a pretty cool cel-shaded look too.
Oneechanbara Z2: Chaos. The game is pretty much a seventh generation game on PS4, that could have gotten a PS3 or 360 version since it does reuse more than a few assets, and is a mission pack sequel when you stop and think about it. These issues can be ignored when you realize it has the best combat in the series, has cool character switching moments you can pull off at nearly any time, and has an awesome dub. Especially Amanda Miller as Kagura. The soundtrack is awesome too, even though it reuses some songs from Z ~ Kagura. It's been over a decade since this game came out back in 2014, and the combat still holds up great. Jank included.
COD Infinite Warfare has the best single player even though it's lacking in a memorable villain or organization. The main hero cast carries this game along with its awesome gameplay.
