As I'm playing my OG PSX last night, it occurs to me what game I would love to see in HD, it's (not susprisingly) Parappa the Rapper 1 & 2 The Collection.

All that really cool art in HD and also the music with a modern remaster. BUT MOST IMPORTANT YOU MUST NAIL THE TIMING!!! ( I'm talking to you PS4). Put PtR 1 & 2 into a collection and put UmJammerLammy in as a bonus game

I couldn't really ask for more. So what's your thoughts?

As much as a fuzzy picture on a CRT enhanced their vibes, I’d still love to see a proper HD remaster of the original Silent Hill trilogy. The old PC port of 2 has an extensive “Definitive Edition” mod that does basically everything you’d want it to, and the port of 3 is pretty solid on its own, and PSX emulation for 1 is cheap and easy, but still.

Frankly, if there was one thing I'd like to see in remakes it would be gameplay improvements. I don't care much about resolution or polygon count. Games like Koudelka or Final Fantasy 8 come to mind. They look fine as they are but they could use some tweaks to the mechanics.

Honestly, I think it would be awesome if the original Deus Ex got the same treatment as the recent Oblivion remaster. Since it's already a brilliant game, it just needs a new coat of paint.

It'd also be nice if Thief 1 and 2 got a similar treatment that the Tomb Raider games and Soul Reaver games got. Once again, a new coat of paint to re-introduce them to a new crowd.

But the game that I'd want most for a remake, is probably TimeSplitters Future Perfect. Just imagining all of the things you'd be able to do with an improved map maker would be enough to entice me to get it.

The 2003 Hobbit game
Why not the superior 1982 Hobbit game?
Not that there's anything wrong with the 2003 game. It's just that the 1982 game is a masterpiece.

Devil May Cry 2. I've always loved the style of DMC 2, it's just the gameplay that it falls short at. It just needs to HD graphics with the same style of the original and DMC 5 like gameplay.

I can't just choose one, as there a many old Games that I would love to see remaked. So i will name a few of the SNES & Genesis and a few from the first Playstation.

Terranigma (I would prefer the Quintet Trilogy: Soulblazer, Illusion of Gaia & Terranigma)
Shadowrun (both the Genesis and the Super Nintendo one, and/or the newer PC Trilogy)
Vandal Hearts I&II (the Combatsystem of the 2nd has to be changed)
Persona 1&2
Breath of Fire III
Wild Arms

and oneGame on the PS3 that I really love comes to my mind:
Sleeping Dogs (the Game is fine as it is, but with better driving- and shootingmechanics and a fresh coat of paint I would buy it again and 100% it for third time ^^)

But I think, theese Titles will never make it, except for maybe Persona.

Honestly, I never want remakes with "AAA" graphics. It most often goes against the aesthetic of the original games. Remakes with slightly improved graphics wouldn't be very popular, but that would be my bag if they happened. Maybe System Shock is a good example, but I've only played the demo for that.

So I'm sticking to remasters probably.

I do not think that the Gothic Remake is going to be any good, but i do wish it would be. Also Ape Escape and maybe TES Arena.
