What game is the mascot of emulation?

Pokémon Emerald, for sure. I'm getting sick of seeing it's title screen whenever a new emulator device comes out

Personally I think it could be Super Metroid or Castlevania Symphony Of Night, maybe a Resident Evil 4 is nostalgic

I was thinking maybe Megami Tensei given that most of the series remains unreleased in the west to thia day. Most of the games are translated like Shin Megami Tensei 1, 2, and if...; Kyuuyaku; Majin Tensei 1-2; and Persona 2 Eternal Punishment PSP.

I just forgot to mention this but also Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2. It seems a lot of people experienced that through emulation. I just happened to have a working PS2 when I played that.

the first game that pops into my head when i think of emulation is SM64, and the hundreds of romhacks for it.
