I've wanted an actual forum to talk about games for a while now. I used to be on Reddit and still use it sometimes, but its not a great environment. The people here have been very friendly, and unlike a lot of forums I've seen nowadays things don't lean super bigoted (idk what it is with modern revival forums and attracting those types). Thus, I've found my time here quite enjoyable :3

one point my dad tried to force me to read some story books he picked out for me, but i had zero interest in them and he had little to no interest keep trying. i don't even remember what it was about. i only read the first chapter. not that didn't or want to read at all as a kid. i read some, but not much. i just wasn't interested in that particular book.

actually no they're went always that chill. he was actually really mad that i wasn't reading as much as he wanted, but eventually he just gave up. what i liked and what he wanted me to liked didn't line up. but he did just let it be eventually. for the most part.
