What drives you to revisit games?

Mostly Nostalga or liking the game's vibe and style. Been playing a PS2 game and i rememeber how stressed and excited when i was playing as a kid. Now? not that much emotions about it, just memories of old emotions i had back then.

Well i was playing Diablo 1 again although i played it earlier this year why? Because replay value! And the fact that it's PC version and not PS1.

I beaten Diablo yesterday as the rouge and honestly it was easier than the warrior playthrough up until Diablo kicked my ass , i underestimated the lord of terror but nothing TPing in and out can't solve




Basically you get this itch to replay certain games to be in that "vibe" like descending the labyrinth in Diablo 1 it just has that vibe you know? Killing more and more demons then getting loot then selling the loot then buying stuff then talking with the townsfolk it's a fun experience that's worth revisiting i still have to play as the sorcerer and the monk and try higher difficulties.

As people already listed it's just that the game is so much fun you play it again to have fun , or discover new content or try a different playstyle.

But yeah good job everyone for listing most reasons.
