I love so many different types of pasta. If it's marinara it needs to be very garlic heavy and spicy, preferably with mushrooms, some meat (beef or ground turkey), and feta cheese.
If alfredo, I love it with chicken, mushrooms, and black olives.
Childhood favorite is just pasta with butter, garlic, salt, and black pepper. As I got older I just added oregano to it.
With mac n' cheese... soooo many different ones, but baked spicy mac n' cheese with chicken and buffalo sauce mixed in with the cheese, especially with a Mexican cheese like oaxaca. My absolute favorite mac n' cheese is how my grandma use to make it. I don't entirely know what she is, but it was white cheese and very onion forward in flavor. No actual solid onions, so possibly powder, but it was super creamy, heavy on black pepper, and just fantastic.
But I'll eat anything from very 'busy' pasta with tons of toppings to "microwave cook pasta and throw some shredded cheese haphazardly." Hell, I actually enjoy just plain pasta.
