Looking to maybe find some gems that I don't already have, so I want your opinions. Best fan translated RPGs?
Hoping something completely new might get me out of my boredom funk.

suggest Grandia, Sakura Taisen (Sakura Taisen 2 is in-progress), Vandal Hearts on Sega Saturn. Langrisser IV, Linda Cube Again on Playstation. Tengai Makyou Ziria, Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys on PC Engine SUPER CD-ROM².

Mystic Ark, Lennus II, Aretha 2, DaiKaiju Monogatari 2, Hero Chronicle, Emerald Dragon, Dark Half, YS V, Sylva Saga 2, Princess Minerva on SNES.

Metal Max 2-3. Linda cube, Lennus 1-2.
I’m playing metal max 3 right now, it’s really fun ?
My other suggestion:
Popolocrois on psx
Magical vacation on gba
Summon night : swordcraft story on gba
Pokemon harvest craft on gba (haven’t try it yet, but it seems interesting)

I remembered 1 scratch that, 7 that I almost never see mentioned (all on snes).
Eien no Filena
Cyber knight 1-2
G.O.D. Growth or Devolution
Hourai Gakuen no Bouken! - Tenkousei Scramble
Little Master - Nijiiro no Maseki (This one not fully translated)
Ryuukihei Dan Danzarubu.

Super Robot Taisen J on GBA
Super Robot Taisen OG 1+2 on PS2
SD Gundam Genesis on the PSP

Treasure of the rudras - SNES
Kinda not a jrpg but brigandine grand edition kinda fits - PS1
Lagoon -Sharp X68000
Megami Tensei - NES
Shin Megami Tensei 1+2 - SNES
Phantasy Star Generations 1 and 2 - PS2 (kind of a cheat as these 2 are remakes of older games)
Shining Force Gaiden (prequel to shining force 2 and sequel to shining force 1) - Game Gear
Tengai Makyo: The Apocalypse IV (machine translation, but it's all we have sadly) - PSP
Samurai Showdown RPG - Neo Geo CD
Tales of Rebirth - PS2
Tales of Destiny: Director's Cut - PS2
Tales of Phantasia - PS1
Tales of Innocence R - PS Vita
Ys 4 The Mask of the Sun and Ys 4 The dawn of Ys (vastly different games from each other and the memories of celceta, each is worth experiencing) - SNES and Turbo CD/PC Engine CD

The first fan-translation I've played was "Tales Of Innocence" for DS, it's a good memory :)
If you have a hacked Vita, now you can play the Vita version in English too.

Shin Megami Tensei 1+2
Linda³ Again
Popolocrois Monogatari

And maybe Racing Lagoon if it counts?

Fate/extra cc for the psp
Actually play the first game (fate/extra) before playing that one

7th Dragon on the PSP, a pretty cool spin on party/dungeon crawler RPGs. I think it had some sort of sequel or remake on the 3DS, too.
