I can remember a time when I listened to and bought good film music. This has become less common over the years, but also because the shops have reduced their product range. Since last year I have started again with film music. What do you think about something like this and do you also have some albums of film music ?

OSTs? I got a bunch of Main Theme Music of films on my phone like ones by John Williams on Superman, Star Wars and Jurassic Park. Usually my sleep music. I think they're really cool and nice to listen to, ::winkfelix
Yes OST's or Film soundtracks. Ok something like that isn't bad either theme music.

I have most of the OST from the Japanese movie "Promare", but the one called "Inferno" was the only I never get tired of. It seems that the original soundtrack cannot be found on YouTube anymore, but there is a LIVE version which sounds close enough:

i had my eye on a copy of the phantom of the paradise soundtrack on vinyl and some 70s italian film soundtracks stuff from Ennio Morricone, Fabio Frizzy and Guido De Angelisbut to name a few but i just dont have the money to buy anymore records at this point.
I saw a store with a bunch of movie soundtracks on vinyl it wad all modern stuff like joker 2

I don't usually watch any feature length moving pictures, especially of the live action flavor but I do enjoy a good soundtrack. Same as with video games, there's a lot of stuff that has no value to me whatsoever besides the music. Anything by Goblin is usually solid and anything sounding like 70's preferably instrumental psychedelic rock is generally fine in my book.

Electric guitar wankery in general is good and preferred over the usually dry, sleep inducing tones of the symphonic orchestra.

Although not all orchestral stuff is bad either, I guess.

As to what is "good"? Well, usually, the beauty is in the ear of the listener, like my neighbours blasting their damned dancing music like to remind me.

Thanks buddy there are some interesting songs .

There are quite a few film soundtracks that I’ve loved and still love to this day. To name a few, I really like the ones from Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange and Barry Lyndon, and many—pretty much all—of the ones from Kitano’s and Pasolini’s films. I also bought the soundtrack for Escape from New York by Carpenter.
These are just the ones that come to mind right now, but I’m forgetting so many others...

I've been trying to keep up with new releases by and large, and I was really digging the Karate Kid: Legends soundtrack! I'm not even a mega fan of the franchise, but this soundtrack was really invigorating and added alot to my enjoyment of the film

I feel the same way, I also forgot a lot of them but luckily I didn't throw away the CDs.

Thanks, I'll listen to that, the music from the film wasn't bad.

I have a nice little collection of movie soundtracks like The Lost Boys, Interview with the Vampire, The Hunger, The Crow, The Craft, etc. But I stopped buying movie soundtracks about 15 years ago. I haven't seen a good movie come out in at least that long.
