What did remaster of Conker's Bad Fur Day add to the original?

The original face has face animations not present in the remake most caracters are missing many of them, they have a little bit of "stiff face" syndrom (AKA Mass Effect Andromeda affliction.) and less censor if you can believe that, but you all probably already know that.

Both are awesome it is one of those RARE instances where you want to play both just to see what changes, it is an even more RARE thing now that that the remake does not replace the original. it co-exist very well!

So, does it have a reason for existing?

Yes, it is a very visually impressive upgrade on the OG xbox

Check this video from the 1:54 mark to see some of the facial animations, also 9:38

Now, we need to re frame your question, it DOES not have any reason to exist now.

But back then, it was to rub it in the face of Nintendo, since the Tim and Chris Stamper the Brothers, wanted Nintendo to buy RARE whole instead of being bought by Microsoft, but Nintendo decided not to bid and passed on the offer, and thus, Microsoft, biding and purchasing RARE to include in their Microsoft game studios.

Nintendo 64 is my least favorite system. Anytime a game from it is completely remade/remastered and done well is reason enough for it's existence to me. Perfect Dark needed the same sorta treatment imo. The new Star Fox game for Switch 2 is actually just a remake of Star Fox 64.
edit: I didn't know Perfect Dark was remade for Xbox 360 in 2010. My bad

Awful censorship (Shit has to be censored...?) a spiked baseball bat instead of a frying pan, even though I like the frying pan more than the baseball bat, local multiplayer is gone, password system gone, twin rifle guns replaced with a single Halo like gun. HD designs. Personally I prefer the original with its funny animation, memorable quotes, better multiplayer, a password system, and basically everything else. This is what I give to Micro$shit after sucking all of Rare's soul. 👎

Better Controls in the Reload compared to the N64 original. Especially with the shooting sections. (Thanks to fact that the Xbox controller has TWO analog sticks.)

local multiplayer is gone
Just one correction, Local multiplayer can still be played on the remake, 2 player split screen, 4 player with LAN System link.

If you refer to the original game modes then that is a completely different matter and yes, it is not present.

It was awesome on 4 player split screen on the N64.

In the remake multiplayer is akin to Star Wars Battlefront with classes vehicles and environmental objectives for both teams, squirrels and Tedizz, when XBOX live was active it could be played 5v5 or 6v6 depending on maps and they had so many references to aliens and event horizon movies, and terminator 2.

The lack of an R3 is really felt in 64 ::sadkirby

In retrospective of course, at that point in time there were no R3 yet, hahaha.

Honestly I have no issues with any controller but my least favorite is the playstations, i do not like symmetrical thumb-sticks but I still use them, I bought a PS5 controller to use with my computer since it seems to be better built that the fucking Xbox now days.

I had a Xbox starfield edition controller and the piece of crap did not last even a year, the right bumper got stuck and it was impossible to DIY.

Remaster, yes, Remade no.

But I get what you mean.

The beach mode is still one of the most ridiculous, fun and offensive game modes I've played in a game.
I agree, Shit flying everywhere and loot of bleeping from swears, but why is it offensive?
