I'm surprised Firefox is so popular as well. Granted, I also use Firefox, but I thought it was a dying breed. That being said, with their AI and Adblock changes, perhaps Chrome-based browsers are falling out of favor. It seems that a lot of the popular forks I hear about these days are Firefox-based, like Zen or LibreWolf

That's because we usually hear of this stuff from enthusiasts. I think the only recent disruption in desktop browser market share was Windows coming with Edge built in and also discouraging people from installing Chrome.

Actually, today I did the initial set up for some guy's Windows 11 instal, and I missed the chance to see M$ trying to dissuade me from installing Chrome because I did it from Winget. I missed my chance.

I use Firefox on mobile as well. After they added add-on support there was some buzz about it and I found out there was a mobile browser.

I'm impressed too, mainly because most people I know hate Firefox (except for my father, he used to enjoy Firefox but has switched to Chrome)

I typically use Brave, but recently youtube has been harassing me with its anti-adblocker notifications a lot so I switch to Firefox whenever I use the site.

I know that I should be using Brave, but I alternate between Chrome, Edge, and Firefox depending on the site.

All the Chrome extensions work on Brave, so I switched to it after google killed off a lot of support. There are other extensions I use other than ad blockers that I don't really want to live without.

I use Librewolf for PC and Ironfox for mobile. I don't trust default Firefox anymore since the privacy changes they did. Which if you don't know you should research it.
