Not sure about calling it underrated because I don't know its rating, but it has to be under-something, more people need to know about it.

Anyway:
Berserk
Blame!
Blade of the Immortal
Akira
Fullmetal Alchemist

Uzumaki, Chainsaw Man, Inuyashiki, Sangatsu no Lion, Witchblade Takeru.

The original Devilman from 1972-73 By Go Nagi

Planetes, which is written by Makoto Yukimura, the Mangaka for Vinland Saga!

KINGDOM, By Yasuhisa Hara.

Zetman by Masakazu Katsura (yes I enjoyed the ending, yes i havent read it in years, im scared to re-read it and hate it 😭)

That 5th spot changes a lot. I think Detective Conan is a safe pick for me though, its a comfort show and manga

manga cover (5).jpg

Naruto dragon ball boku no hero é só assistir metade do anime mas eu gosto da história raman 1/2 e boruto

Very hard to order them but I'll try:
  1. She Loves To Cook She Loves To Eat: this manga is healing for so many reasons. A beautifully told love story between two women getting to know themselves in the process.
  2. Insomniacs After School: where my profile picture is from! A love story like no other. The art is breathtaking and the characters are so human that at times it'll make you believe that it's a biography. It's also the absolute best representation of the day to day life of having chronic health issues. Incredible stuff.
  3. Look Back: both the manga and film are masterpieces. A thoughtful look at all the reasons we humans feel the inescapable urge of creating art, and the connections that establishes between us.
  4. Land of the Lustrous: I don't even know where to begin with this one because I still haven't recovered from that ending. An exploration of what makes us human that goes deeper into philosophy than you'd expect from the premise. It'll probably change how you view the world, at least a little.
  5. Composing Spring in This Room Where Cherry Blossoms Bloom: a story about getting to grips with the loss of the person you love the most. Its premise isn't subtle at all, but the writing is still delicate and thoughtful. Also, another very welcome romance between two adult women, which is sadly somewhat rare.

1- Dragon Maid
2 - The Helpful Fox Senko-san
3 - Komi Can't Communicate
4 - Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai
5 - JoJo Bizarre Adventure

I don't read much manga, so take this with a grain of salt.

-Akira
- Oyasumi Punpun
-Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou
-Non Non Biyori
-Telework Yotabanashi

my top 5 mangas in no particular order
  • Rough by Mitsuru Adachi
  • Video Girl Ai by Masakazu Katsura
  • Kodomo no Omocha by Miho Obana
  • Akira by Katsuhiro Otomo
  • Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - Battle Tendency by Hirohiko Araki

No order cuz I'm indecisive :P
  • Dragon Ball
  • Gintama
  • Dungeon Meshi
  • Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
  • Ranma 1/2
I kinda flip-flop a lot, so here's the rest on my MAL::sailor-embarrassed

I've only read two, so I guess by default Evangelion and Azumi are my top 2.

Naruto, dragon ball, one piece, yugioh and dragon quest

1. Oishinbo
2. Mister Ajikko
3. Shokugeki no Soma (Food Wars)
4. Cooking Master Boy (Chuka Ichiban)
5. Shin Cooking Master Boy (Shin Chuka Ichiban)

Yes, they're all cooking mangas. They're top 5 because I keep re-reading them everytime I'm having a snack or take out dinner. And my meals are all the more yummier even if it's not the food that's featured onscreen. As a consequence, I end up eating Japanese or Chinese food more often than not.
