Indie What are your thoughts on Deltarune chapter 3 and 4?

Both were really good, but I currently think ch4 is my favorite.

I already finished chapters 1 to 4.

Chapter 3 was alright, but since the main story mostly takes a back seat for most of it, felt weak compared to other chapters. It also felt quite repetitive due to a large chunk being spent inside the 8-bit meta game. Chapter 4 more than makes up for all of this though, and is absolutely my favorite part of Deltarune so far. Just an absolute banger through and through, and though its runtime is comparable to 3, it feels much more grand and meaningful.

Before jumping into the new chapters I started a new save file from Chapter 1 and played all the way through to 4. Very excited to do this when every chapter is released, as despite there being years between the actual releases, it's super impressive how well each chapter leads into the next, and the small running jokes that only really make sense when you play them back to back.

Loved the new chapters, and it just overjoys me that the spirit of Earthbound is still going strong in Toby Fox's work all these years later.
