What are your favorite "suspension of disbelief" moments in gaming?

This is more of an anime thing then a video game thing, but since there are a ton of Dragon Ball Z games it still sort of counts.

I just find it hilarious how time works in the Dragon Ball universe. There could be a five minute time limit for something, and somehow that gets stretched out into like ten episodes.
Gotta love how it takes a whole episode to power up

Honestly it's quite funny how a dog be leaping at you in Resident evil but you open the door and now that 100% damage taken moment is gone just because you decided to open a door only thing i can imagine is the dog head hitting the door lol.

Also another funny thing is how character can from their POV see the monster but you rely on the camera i mean why would you not shoot that dog below when the elevator is moving?

Like it's in both RE games and silent hill you open a door and a scary enemy is there why didn't you peak through the door opened it if you saw anything shoot the goddamn thing with half opened door or open it fully and then shoot stuff inside the room no you enter the room THEN you realize there is monsters yeah the characters we play as have legit some horrible scanning abilities and in Resident evil YOU ARE A TRAINED POLICEMAN WHO CAN'T SHOOT WHILE MOVING what sort of training the S. T. A. R. S received to be unable to shoot while moving if Harry who of all things is a civilian and be considered poorly trained or even not trained at all can shoot while moving why we can't do it in Resident evil? I know the answer is "muh technology limit at the time" but still...

I use to struggle a lot with enjoying third person/first person shooters just on account of you watching someone casually running around while getting riddled with bullets. It's easier to suspend my disbelief when it's a sci-fi setting where people wear futuristic armor and shielding (like Mass Effect)

Oh! That reminds me of the "Merciful Soul" thing in Human Revolution as you beat the crap outta people.

It's cool, though! You ain't killing them XD
I think Cyberpunk has something like that. I think it was that you could get a non-lethal mod you could equip to weapons. Really helps with the more stealth-focused builds.

Basically the entirety of the Uncharted series. Random ledges marked to let you know where you should be going, ladders crumbling when you're climbing them, Nate surviving the most insane set pieces, and so on. I always thought that the whole series plays like you're a stunt actor acting out scenes for a blockbuster movie, since everything is designed to feel like its real but with a movie-like pace (things going wrong at just the right time to amplify tension).
