when i say obscure, i mean stuff that's under 10k views preferably, though it can go over if its something you really like and wanna share.
(this is the one that goes over 10k views for me, it's just too golden to not share)
and finally,
these are some of my favorites ive found over the years, and im curious to see what you folks have in your collections.

Just Jamie is one of my favorite YouTuber. Never watched it for his rankings, but I love watching his retro game ports comparison. Here's what he uploaded recently

Mine...jk
This channel i found a few days ago is all about ICO stuff, and they are very well produced, i wonder why they don't have way more views

A channel that explore rural places in japan. Basically rambalac but with less views.
Playing retro games with retro tech
Compilation of fan translation patches every month
High school music club

If they don't have to be gaming related, then this crazy shit:

Dude's be the internet's hidden gem!

I like a bunch of smaller channels, and YT user pacbilly has a series where he redubs episodes of Computer Chronicles. This one I like for how much work he had to put into all the voices overlapping towards the end

Fuck it, I'll flood this thread with nostalgic self-promotion

I really want to shout out Nil Nilgiree's Oreshika video. It's very interesting and in-depth about the first game and why the sequel was bad.

She's also been streaming the first game on Twitch every Wednesday and it's just been fun times.

Not "obscure" per sé (not one video alone either eh), but it is a small channel of a small streamer. Edit: just realized that Brady got more views recently, guess this doesn't qualify now even if you tweak the rules lmao.
Euro Brady Disco Elysium and Slay the Princess VODs (all of them) have a lot of insight into how the kind of therapy he uses works and how it *doesn't* work.

I also get this kind of shii together with those VODs in my recommended, my algorithm doesn't care if God exists.

I like how these appear randomly on my music playlist. Makes me stop drawing just too laugh

I have a silly sense of humor at times. I remember when this guy first posted this video.

This absolute banger that JUST barely no longer counts
Also this banger that hinges on being lost media if it wasn't a royalty free track used for an obscure Mega Man clone that's only a little over 10K
The second didn't embed crying

Edit at 1:17 AM
EUREKA, it embedded

I can't believe this is like, actual lyrics from an actual song. It's not tongue in cheek either! Oh well, bunny.

A creepy heavily psychedelic video made by someone involved at the cult of Obey The Walrus. I really loved the visual effects here.

Not really obscure but I also really like this video.

I like this video because it gives me a great nostalgia of the 2000s videos with a cheap edit and also 'cuz it has a song from one of my favorite bands.

im a big fan of Thu Tran's work. she has a pretty fun cooking show called Food Party too.
