what are your favorite obscure youtube videos?

I've posted this video here before, but it bears repeating: One of the single best things I've ever seen on YouTube is this retrospective about the 3DO made by one of the console's original software engineers. It's an extremely fascinating look into the console's genesis, production, and how it competed in the industry at large during the 90s. There's a ton of juicy gossip dished about the development team and several other key figures in the Western console industry during the fifth generation, too. And it doesn't even have 6000 views! You owe it to the 3DO to watch this video – unbelievably recommended.

Shifting gears from games to comics, last summer I really fell in love with this new YouTube channel called Cartoon Aesthetics. It's still a really young channel, and its tone might not be for everyone, but the guy running it is a very intelligent, well-researched individual with a lot of knowledge and passion for obscure cartoons and comics. He recently completed an hour-long documentary on a Fantagraphics series called Hate, accentuated by a thorough meditation on the media that defined Generation X (and vice versa), and I couldn't tear myself away from the screen the whole time I was watching it. (This is kind of cheating because part 1 of this series has nearly 70,000 views, but the full video has less than 6000.)

And going back to video games, I really do want you to listen to this piano rendition of the opening track from Little Big Adventure 2. I'm the most biased person on the planet when it comes to this, because the music of both LBA games (especially the first one) is woven deeply into the fabric of my being, but this really is a gorgeous cover, and it doesn't even have 4000 views. I hate 99.99% of all song covers, so take my word that this not only beautifully represents the original song, but enhances it. When the LBA1 theme kicks in, my heart sheds a tear of pure pleasure.

OK, one more random bit of oddness: I've had this video bookmarked since I was in Grade 10, and listening back to it now still makes me laugh my head off. You have to watch it all the way through.

THE OFFICIAL SAY "IT A TOUCH DOWN!!!"

EVERYTHING IN MY LIFE I DO IT FOR THE CLEVELAND BROWNS

This resonates with me on a level I struggle to articulate and I wish the original upload was still around as no one seems to have archived the original HD upload.
