Kinda…? It’s more sandbox-y than rpg. I didn’t interact much with the rpg stuff i just roamed around and messed with random stuff to see npcs react.
How's the translation? Unfortunately my Japanese isn't good.
I never played the first 2 titles. I guess it counts as JRPG? I don't even remember what the 3rd game was like. I believe you don't level up there.

I know machine translation is usually meh, but if you know what you're doing and use current AI technology, it can work miracles. Do you know any details regarding the translation?
I unfortunately can’t say I’m an expert haha. I seldom downloaded English patches for purposes beyond just getting past the menus and getting basic contexts for story events, so I’ve only had one playthrough with these and that was that. Sorry I’m not much of a help haha.

Definitely gonna try this one. I have the iso of ff type 0 in my folder for 2 years but wasn't able to play it because of some backlogs of VN that I have yet to read.
Type 0 is one of my favorites! I loved swapping characters all the time while grinding. The story is also very good! The only downside is that the levels can feel a bit short, but aside from that, I think it's a very good title. It's an ARPG, similar to FF7 CC. Give it a try or risk being attacked by wild chocobos! OK, I'll stop.
I was thinking of buying Tactics Ogre Reborn since it's heavily discounted on PSN and Steam. Do you know if it's the same game? I always hear good things about Tactics Ogre.
