QualWhat 3DS game did you want to play at first? I never owned the console, only the emulators. Recently, I wanted to buy Pokémon X.

Probably Mario Kart 7. I remember being impressed by the (then) new gliders and the ability to race underwater.

I also played Pokemon X a lot growing up. I'll never forget that day when I bred for a shiny Ralts and got it in the very first egg.

Dreamcast is the most 'fun' ainec, followed by pc engine, but in terms of libraries the aforementioned consoles can't be beat.

Xbox360 and Ps4 are on the same spot ps4 would be higher if i had not so many problems with reading discs and well the jet engine.
PSP
NDS

I only listed the once I owned otherwise the
Dreamcast and Gamecube would also be up there and the SNES
the Mega Drive is also good but I am a sucker for JRPGS which the SNES was just better with.

Last ones, Xbox360 and Wii on same level: I bought them both used and VERY cheap just to play a couple of exclusives, and then sold them without regrets.

I was a Mega Drive fanboy before I got into the PC Engine, so I gotta give it some respect:

1. Mega Drive
2. PC Engine
3. Super Famicom
4. Famicom
5. Saturn
6. PS1
7. Dreamcast
8. PS2
9. OG Xbox
10. PSP or GBA

I like handhelds but I much prefer consoles.

3DS and PSP are my favorites since these are the ones I carry with myself every day, both are different sides of a coin, each one has strenghts the other doesnt have, making both very special.

On the home side: GameCube is the best, so much great stuff.
I want to try more of the PS2 side but that'll have to wait.

The PS3 and the 3DS for me.

The PS3 was just awesome, PS1 discs could be read on them, it could rip CDs into mp3 files (Gran Turismo 5/6 made use of that where you can use your own music in-game), of course it was a brilliant DVD/BluRay player and it had free online multiplayer. My PS3 is succumbing to GPU issues currently which is a shame, but it was brilliant when it worked. Total multimedia powerhouse.

The 3DS was great as well, there were so many fun features crammed into that little thing. Streetpass and Spotpass were great and made the 3DS feel a lot more sociable, like it was encouraging you to interact with the world (which is pretty rare and an aspect that's missing these recent years). I don't know if Nintendo will ever bring back the DS line, they should in my opinion; there's nothing else like it before or since. I guess the initial premise of the Switch was to be a sort of "social console" with its tablet mode and removable controllers but it feels like Nintendo has abandoned that aspect of the Switch after a few years.

I think the 3DS wins for me. Such insane processing power compared to the DSi and you can't go wrong with the backwards compatibility.

Wii is a close second cuz nostalgia but I am a huge sucker for handhelds
