TV Series What are Worst Brazillian Portuguese Dubs?

I may not be Brazilian,but are there any dubs made in Brazil that Just suck? Only asked this because the Dubbing Industry there is too overrated

Can't really say one of the top of my head but the Cardcaptor Sakura movie was nearly unwatchable for me because the CHANGED THE DUBBING ACTRESS FOR SAKURA, THE MAIN CHARACTER.

I hear that a lot of dubs made in Campinas are bad but I never bothered to check them, so can't really say anything

Other than that, I see more problems with production than the dubbing voices.

Bleach had a very messy dub production with lots of actors changing all the time for a lot of non-regular characters, Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X) had similar issues with one character (Aoshi).

Patlabor had an ATROUCIOUSLY BAD script that changed what the original text said and messed up translations.

Nadesico had a very low quality translation (they used the english/american localization as a basis).

Only asked this because the Dubbing Industry there is toxic and overrated

Wdym? Aside from something here and there, dubbing in Brazil is mostly well done and consistent even saving some bad anime (like Gantz) or movies (like White Chicks).

Dubbing fans on the other hand can be VERY toxic and obnoxious

Indeed, i also agree it's overrated. I dont believe it's one of the best in the world like the actors/actresses say. Konosuba is a good bad example of dubbing, Kazuma's voice dont match him. If i'm not mistaken the actor who dubs him also owns the dubbing studio where the voices are done..... - Someone can correct me if this is wrong..

To me, the most noticeable issue with brazilian dubs is that a lot of feeling and entonation is lost during adaptation. Portuguese itself is a rather unique language, which makes it difficult to directly translate things without dancing around words and terms all the time.

More than majority of actual animes who outside Asia are released on some streaming platforms.

The dubbing essence here in Brazil are becomes more terrible with many new newcomers acepted on studios WITHOUT doning a Theatre program(who is essential for someone get knowledge to work on dubbing).

I'm not an fan of dubbing, but Brazil had a great era of dubbing, as today some voice actors and actresses sadly passed away.

Almost any New dub or old, especially those with a lot of slang, or with thousands of translation errors and
- Dragon ball super
- Blue Dragon
- Fairy Tail
- Fate Apocrypha
- Gintama
- Devilman cry baby
But speaking outside of anime, the worst Brazilian dubbing I've ever seen was undoubtedly the redubbing of Sonic Aosth

I'm kinda curious about the reason for the interest in Brazil's dubbing industry from a foreigner, to the point of forming an opinion about it lol

A lot of Brazilian's dubs sucks, some of the more recent done for streaming especially since it feels rather amateur a lot of the time because they don't hire great studios. It highly depends on the studio doing the dub. However, dubs from the 90s and 2000s tend to be very, very good. That said, the Digital Circus was a recent one that was very good.

Some older ones are kinda weird too, they have a very distinct style that just feels...very awkward and dated, feeling more like a play than a movie. It's like watching a movie from the 70s or 80s with dialogue from the 40s and 50s.

One I distinctly remember as a bad one is the first Rocky's dub. Especially when various characters are talking at the same time and it becomes something akin to a shouting match.
