This riddling genre is one that no soul truly escapes.
It holds games that differ in shape and depth, yet all share a spirit of one.
The game you mention need not be the best... but the one that connected most deeply to your soul.

For me, these are the puzzled games of fate:
- Chip's Challenge

- Shove It! ...The Warehouse Game (also known as Sokoban)

- Kwirk (Puzzle Boy is its other name)

What are yours, collected souls?

Never am good at it, but my gamer aunt was

Back in my childhood days, whenever we visited for vacation breaks, she'd pull all-nighters playing it and Bomberman (NES); I fell asleep many times with its BGM in my ears

An incredible game, indeed.
I have yet to try it, but I must.
May as well raise my knowledge of soulless machinery in my way.
Many thanks, farmer soul.

Ah, Lode Runnerโ€ฆ the music alone is enough to etch this game into souls.
And the gameplay? Phenomenal, even to this day.
Many memories rise from this golden mound of game.

Conan Hall of Volta

Played it on some obscure monochrome computer system

Mike the Magic Dragon
You have to collect letters from computer science lingo (eg Ram, cli, dos, CPU etc) in order for a key to appear and progress to next stage. Sort of like a nerdy version of Bubble Bobble with bgm from Miami Vice. Later it gets harder and letters increase from 3 to 4 and 5

Ah, Iโ€™ve never heard of either.
But from what I gather, both are full of spirit, and shall be added to my list.
Iโ€™m grateful for the introduction, gliding soul.

Tetrisphere might still be my favorite puzzle game after all these years. Rather than line clearing like usual, you're stacking pieces on each other trying to get to the core of a sphere. There's a ton of techniques to use like OG Tetris, several modes like puzzle, mission, co-op and versus, and a killer soundtrack.

The games i mentioned here are very dear to me... which includes some puzzle games, and Chip's Challenge is among them too! ::terriermon-happy

Also, Shove it (md) was a game that i grew up with... i love it so much! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Other than these, Adventures of Lolo 1-3 (nes) are among my favorites of all times! ๐ŸŒŸ
