What are the most graphically impressive Original Xbox games to you?

Specific bits that really stand out in my memory:
- Particle effects when you pop a vampire with a stake in Buffy the Vampire Slayer
- The waterfall in Panzer Dragoon Orta
- The sea storms in the Pirates of the Caribbean game

Lesser known game, Scrapland is my pick for best looking Xbox game. Honorable mentions would be Double STEAL The Second Clash, Thief 3, Carve and Outrun 2006.

Xbox best graphic? Well 360 had same as my old Pentium so....
I think fifa 22.

How could I forget...
The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay
This one is really interesting. Gorgeous game, imo better visuals than any other stencil shaded game. It also uses a dynamic res and will drop from 480p to an upscaled 240p to maintain performance.

The team ninja games like Ninja Gaiden Black and DOA 2, but DooM 3 it has to be the most impressive to me because of how well it uses the darkness and the only flashlight that you have and that's the only reason I like more the OG version more than the BFG edition.

It’s probably been said, but Black looks like a darn 360 game.

And, with its detailed worlds and massive enemies (not to mention a full SEGA Saturn port available once you beat the game!) Panzer Dragoon Orta is unmissable.

Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate and Ninja Gaiden Black still look great today. Every time I go back to them, they still impress me with how well they hold up in the graphics department.

Probably a tie between The Chronicles Of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay and Conker: Live & Reloaded. Ninja Gaiden Black and DoA 2 Ultimate also look really good. Doom 3 has impressive lighting and just like the Xbox port of Half-Life 2 (not that the lighting is that great in that one) is impressive simply because they managed to get it running on the Xbox in the first place, but they are definitely not the most graphically impressive games on the console. Escape From Butcher Bay and Conker beat them out IMO by having just as impressive lighting and better looking character models in the first case, and having to managed to model Conker's fur as well as they did in the second, not to mention the game is colorful as hell.

For me, it has to be Far Cry: Instincts. It's a rare example of a console port being better than its PC counterpart to me as a game, but visually, although it is downgraded from Far Cry, it still looks really good. Proven by how it was ported to the 360 a year later with nought added but enhanced character and weapon models as a part of the 360 version of Instincts: Evolution (called Instincts: Predator).

Really, the main reason WHY I go for Instincts: Predator for my FCI fix is because it doesn't feature the unskippable trailer that plays whenever you go to the main menu.

Not really impressive in the realism sense but Jet Set Radio Future's art direction is awesome. It's a bit too green tinted for my liking compared to its Dreamcast predecessor; despite that the graphics have still held the test of time and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk did an incredible job recreating that style when it came out a few years ago.

I have to say that Conker: Live and Reloaded is actually CRAZY on the console. I owned it at one point and I honestly felt like I needed “better cables” for it.

The fur tech is insane for 2005. Blinx I praise for it, but Conker had fur SIMULATION. Recall: in 2001, Pixar had poured blood, sweat, and tears into rendering fur in a MOVIE. Now, on hardware from that same year, we have an interactive game that is just pulling it off. No sweat at all. It’s honestly disgusting how good it was for the time, and it’s only so controversial because of the changes. Taken on its own, it’s one of the Original XBox’s strongest technical examples.

Sega really brought it with Panzer Dragoon Orta and Outrun 2
also agreed with DOA(Xtreme Beach Volleyball also looked quite good), Splinter Cell and Ninja Gaiden as mentioned

I don’t really enjoy halo or most fps outside of cod but it’s a series that definitely counts for this.
