Yeah!, and in the Wii version you don't need the multitap for playing 3 players. I can't possibly recommend more a game for coop than Secret of Mana :D

Yesh!, I've played it with a friend once when I got it for PS1 the year it was released in Japan. I couldn't believe how amazing was, the graphics and the OST is one of a kind. For nostalgia Secret of Mana is my favourite because I have tons of fond memories, but if I had to choose my favourite Mana game, Legend of Mana would be the one, as it is very original, the gameplay is intense and the scenery is very beautiful.

the remaster version (with 3d graphics and voice acting) also has 2 player co-op, and a LOT of upgrades from the old game, new story scenes (with voices as mentioned) and feels less laggy (i thought it was quite slow on SNES personally) i'd recommend the remaster, but if you wanna play SNES that's fine too

Legend of mana's coop is very shitty in my opinion since you actually need a 2nd npc character with you to have co-op. on the remaster anyways (idk if its different on PS1)
about half the game on remaster was solo, no partner characters, and p2 can't control the monsters you raised either.

I think that in my childhood I played The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003, GC), Fantastic 4 (2005, GC) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003, GC) either with my family or with my cousins as well and they were good times back then.

Had a ton of fun doing a run of D&D: Shadow over Mystara with some friends forever ago. As well as the Simpsons arcade game, played through that with three other friends at a local arcade, was not expecting to have that good of a time ether.
