Anything with a catgirl in it. And I do mean anything. The majority of my physical PS2 library is composed of games that have catgirls in them. I would literally go to TVtropes and shit and just look up games with catigirls in them and then buy them.

My brother used to be able to shame me for it, but I have stopped giving a shit.

These include, but are not limited to:

Stella Deus - Not a great game, but I beat it with the catgirl alone once I unlocked her, because she is completely fucking broken. She can cross pretty much the entire map twice per turn and hits like a cruise missile while being insanely hard to kill, with the easiest ultimate weapon to get. The game also has an armor item called Invisible Clothes, which is so funny that I never upgraded from it.

Dark Cloud - The catgirl is the best character in the game and you will not convince me otherwise. She has a ranged weapon that you can manually aim and only loses 1 durability no matter what you hit with it. I have not bothered leveling anyone else except a half-assed effort for the main character because he is mandatory. I have her ultimate weapon completely fully upgraded with 99 in every element.

Mana Khemia - My favorite game of all time. The catgirl is the best character in the game and you will not convince me otherwise. 2nd highest attack, by far the highest speed. She has her own song where she sings the lyrics. The sequel is trash and I hate everything about it, except the 5-year-old witch raised by slimes who has the highest damage output in the game, because that is hilarious. She would be the best character even if she was the weakest, solely because she cannot fucking talk.

Wild Arms: Alter Code F - You literally only get to have the catgirl for one single dungeon, and the only reason to level her is because you get better items from her the higher level she gets. I didn't know this before I bought it. This game was expensive. Still beat it.

Atelier Iris - The catgirl is the weakest character in the game, which made me sad. Used her anyway. The end cutscene also freezes the game unless the entire game's volume is 0. But the soundtrack is baller and Iris herself has a move where she just fucking leaves the battle to go find the biggest rock she can lift to smash the enemy with. The size of the rock increases as she gets stronger. Funniest shit.

Soul Nomad - She's a cow-girl, but it's close enough for me. Great game, featuring The Indestructible Gig, the best character in RPG history with the greatest English dub ever recorded. Also a baller soundtrack.


...And, yes, even Lunar: Dragon Song. The worst RPG ever made. I haven't beaten it yet, because I got stuck and have no idea where to go. The catgirl is the strongest character who is not the protagonist. But he is Mary Sue-tier bullshit strong, and then he gets an upgrade, so that's not saying much.

I will at least take a look at pretty much anything with cute anime girls, and I play lewd games all the time. I am a degenerate and I am beyond giving a shit. Besides, NSFW games don't lie to you about what they are and don't try to lecture you about why you're a bad person for existing.

So games I've completed an unhealthy amount of times? Sonic R. I put many hours in playing the game, where the controls became second nature, to unlock all some of the hidden characters back in the day.

Senran Kagura games, easily.
One of the franchises that you would struggle to find any reason to enjoy it so much because on every department they're so mediocre yet it's so charming you can't stop playing and be reminded of it.

Showing my age here, but Milion's Secret Castle for the NES. I can't justify the time and effort I put into beating that damn game.

Chaos Legion on PS2 is one of those games that I think objectively speaking, is kinda low key dogwater. The story's awful, the acting(at least in the jp dub) is somehow worse, and the level design is trash. But I just can't get enough of it.

The gameplay just oozes that special type of PS2 era jank that I haven't tasted since I was a kid. It's DMC at home+JoJo stands and it just kinda hits the right nueron in my monkey brain. I could play this game for YEARS and not get bored, but I don't think I could recommend this to anyone who hasn't been forged in the same flames as I.
