What are some genuinely bad games you enjoy?

Admit that Android games have a monetization system aka Pay-to-Win, not so intuitive touch controls, ridiculously high requirements due to poor optimization, a focus more on online than offline, mass oversaturation of games, apps, etc. that focuses more on quantity than quality, etc. Although the only decent/considerable Android games for some reason are paid and are full games.
Yes, it really is a disaster, Android and games.

I genuinely love Mafia III.

Is the gameplay too repetitive? Yeah, probably.
But the controls are great. Shooting and punching feel satisfying. Driving a muscle car and just whipping it squealing around corners is great fun.
Great art direction, great soundtrack, cutscenes, voice acting, and production value. The game just oozes style.

I go back every 2-3 years for another playthrough. I think I've played it 3 times now.

Sword Coast Legends

so bad it shut down the development studio. Fans were expecting this to be the next neverwinter nights (which it was not) and instead of managing peoples expectations the devs opened pre-orders and did livestreams talking about how expansive and next gen it would be (which it was not)

Begged for this as my only birthday present & tried so hard to enjoy it for months. It's not even egregiously bad or buggy it's mostly just very boring. It's like the Nutraloaf of computer RPGs. no i will not elaborate.
It also didn't help that Divinity: Original Sin released the year prior and was MUCH better, most of the steam reviews included some variation of "save your money buy divinity instead", which people did.

quick rapid-fire of things I thought were funny about this game:
- the voice actors all sound like they dont know where they are
- one of the advertised companions is killed for plot reasons about 15 minutes into the story (but he was really annoying so I didnt even care)
- character creation has you choose an alignment and a deity to worship despite neither having any effect on the story or gameplay
- On release the steam description noted that multiplayer servers would remain "indefinitely", then right before they shut the servers down that would quietly get changed to an "indefinite, unspecified amount of time"

Despite all of this, every few years I'll dig it out of my steam library & try to gaslight myself into thinking its actually fun. I'm downloading it right now

I think I played like 1h of it and gave up. Though part of me feels I should have given it a better chance. Then again l played Solasta all the way through and I just ended up feeling empty with how mid it was, and sword coast seems exactly like that...

I had the same thoughts about Solasta! The concept sounded cool as a tool for d&d sessions but as a singleplayer game it felt way too generic & bland for me to care

Hakaiou: King of Crusher

This game is incredibly bad, but it's so hilarious that it made me keep playing just to see what else could possibly happen. Eventually it hits a point where it's so difficult to progress that the terribleness catches up and you have to walk away.

As a kid i genuinely loved Sonic 2006 (maybe because it was the only PS3 game i had for a long time) but today i love it because it's a huge goldmine of unintentional comedy

The original Power Rangers game for the Genesis
Yes, it's jank and very one note, but I appreciate how charming the game is along with the Zord battles and the storyline it follows. It's also made by Banpresto and they rarely make outright bad games

Bad cover art aside, I have no clue why this game appears on so many "bad" game lists. Sure, the ending is pure cheese, but this game is freaking awesome!

Mine would have to be Jim Power The Lost Dimension in 3D.

This is the SNES port of a 2D action platformer on the Amiga. It's not very good for many reasons. One of the worst parts is the visuals. They messed up the parallax scrolling in the SNES version. The background just doesn't move the right way. Some people can't even look at the first stage without getting ill. It arguably gets worse during the shooting stages where the screen never stops scrolling. It's really distracting even if it doesn't provoke a visceral response.

The difficulty is also pretty brutal and requires a lot of trial and error memorization. You die in one hit and have limited continues to beat the game with. I've beaten it on emulator with save states between levels, but even then it was really hard.

The game isn't all bad. The soundtrack was composed by Chris Hueslbeck of Turrican fame and was really good. The music for the first stage gets some flak because it sounds really similar to the lava cave theme in Y's 3. I like the Amiga versions better, but the SNES has a few exclusive tracks that sound decent. Some of the SNES exclusive stages are also kind of alright if a bit heavily deriving from the top-down stages in Contra 3.

If I had to explain why I like it, I guess it would be a combination of the soundtrack and the really horrible scrolling. It's weirdly charming in spite of the rather tedious difficulty. Here's a longplay if you're curious.

As a huge fan of Parasite Eve I will say this was a terrible sequel and wished it had been it's own thing.

But I love this game, it's brutal. Story makes no sense and they ruined Maeda. I love the gameplay and always thought it looked really good for a PSP game. I don't generally listen to music for games I usually listen to my own music so I can talk on that.

8/10 experience for me.
