What alternate timeline in gaming history would you want to see?

One where Nintendo took Sega's path regarding fanprojects and endorsed and even supperted them instead of, you know, Suetendo

Oh, In addition to the timeline where DLC and microtransactions don't exist AND games aren't released until they're 100% completed I'd also like for said timeline to have any and all retro games for $5 USD or less (or the equivalent thereof if you don't live in the U.S.) as well as a video game industry that isn't overrun by corporate greed and Square Enix isn't run by a bunch of failsons.

Not gaming in general but I always wanted to see the timeline where FF Versus XIII was made without any complications. Damn even today when I launch trailers from 2009 it makes me sad that most of this was scrapped and made into FFXV which wasn't that bad but that which makes versus trailers interesting even today was setting and atmosphere.
I still go back and watch those old trailers sometimes, it was one of the biggest reasons why I wanted a PS3 back in the day. It probably doesn't exist, but I hope one day some sort of playable beta or demo leaks online so that I can have some closure lol.

The timeline where we got the completed Dinosaur Planet on the N64.

Starfox Adventures would never have been released or made, and Rare would have come out with one of the most influential and amazing games in that era.

I think shit would be a lot different.

I always thought that Sega Saturn was a console designed for 2D games: A SNES killer. However, the release of the PS1 with 3D-oriented hardware ruined everything in terms of hardware design. Hence the poor decision to make it have a multi-core processor, something unthinkable for the time.

What would have happened if, instead of all the add-ons like the Sega CD or Sega 32x, Sega had made a console powerful enough to make an outstanding port of Daytona USA?

A timeline where these two games didn't get cancelled.

Capcom at least closing the ZX advent and Legends trilogies

One where the Konix Multi-System actually came out and the Amiga CD 32 didn't bankrupt Commodore

Ponder the multiverse, and ask the question....
What if...

Sega had a different mascot?
Street Fighter II had never been released?
Gamers had refused the PS3 due to price?
Arcades were still in full force today?
Sony never entered gaming consoles?
SNK had made a better Neo CD?
There was no such thing as region exclusive games?
John Tobais never left Mortal Kombat?
How different gaming would be right now without DEI?
Nintendo didn't recover after the WiiU?

kitaste dumping tEaM lAgUnA along with a disc3 quickfix

the one where minimalism never became in style. the consoles 20+ years ago felt like experiences rather then products.

Playstation and Xbox never existed and Sega and Nintendo are still a thing.
