This is more of a personal rant than anything but it's more about an overall problem we're hitting.

This is a video taken from my LGS's Instagram when they opened up for the first time. Someone essentially stole the content and slapped that the owner is lacking self awareness. This is about the 3rd time I've seen a video like this. from different users and this account is purely using the system to complain about scalpers. I'm glad that the shop itself is grossly unaffected by this but I'm more annoyed with the fact that we've gone so far into the rabbit-hole of being anti-scalper that we're trashing on people that don't deserve it in the slightest.

Plus I'll tell you the old shop that used to be in that location was way worse by overcharging even convention prices for things and the trade in credit would make Gamestop look like a godsend in comparison.

Scalping sucks, we can all agree on that, but we need to really understand that Local Game Shops are not on the same footing as scalpers. People need to look at LGSs as an actual business, what's their trade-in credit, what's their policy for sealed product purchases, what events do they run etc. There's multiple factors in play that are not just scalping. We've become so blind in our dissent towards something that we are clouding our judgement with pure emotion.
