It's hard for me to recommend Wendy: Every Witch Way based on its merits as a game alone... It's certainly competent, but nothing special.

What makes me remember it, however, is the animation — these are Shantae levels of fluidity, and I think that most people would be happy to give this one a chance based on that alone.

Watching the main character moving/flying/rotating around the stage is genuinely excellent, and I was surprised by how little this game is talked about, even on GBC circles.

Is it a great game (or even a mythical "hidden game")? Not really... but I have always enjoyed it for what it is, and also for proving that this console could be really smooth-moving under the right artists and developers, which was no small feat when we consider the hardware limitations of the time and, ultimately, something that the team at WayForward Technologies had mastered like no-one else.

I love that game, reminds me of a NES hidden gem known as Metal Storm, only thing i dislike is Wendy in the menu, she looks so cursed
