Well this was certainly the piece of nintendo news of all time that I woke up to today.

I guess, since it’s made by a third party studio, it’s a key? Just sucks though. Especially since this was a rare game that I was actually looking forward to.

It’s also scary, since while I can say that you can mod a Switch 1 to properly keep what you buy, the Switch 2 is far more strict. Perma-mods and emulators for this system can’t come fast enough, as this system seems to be the most locked down of any system I’ve ever seen, and we risk losing games more than ever now.

Koei Tecmo is developing the game so it's not a first party game per se.

However: this doesn't look like it couldn't have ran on the Switch 1 nor taking too much space on the cartridge, why choosing that?

Hoping that the eshop version could eventually get a sales after a year.

weird considering that the new Zelda Warriors is not a key-card shit
The thing is that Age of imprisonment takes up more space around 44 GB and the pkmn thing is only 10 GB, it seems to me that the pokemon company just wants to cheap out more by not putting in the effort of putting it on a normal game card.
