Weirdest cartoons you remember?

well.. she turned out to be a total lesbo, but we ended up moving in together with her girlfriend at a house on the beach in santa monica... like right by the Pier!...

it sounds really cool when i think about it, but honestly the best part of it was having a parking spot right by the beach, heh

Definitely Kika and Bob. For years I thought this thing was one of those false childhood memories; just about a year ago I learned that this cartoon was actually real. Was pretty great from what I can remember.

Super Sumos was probably the conceptually weirdest cartoon I ever caught on TV. Not sure what they were thinking with that one.

Some shows like Uncle Grandpa were weird, but they were trying to be weird, so it doesn't really count.

Bucky O'Hare

I think it was on for maybe 6 months before getting canceled - there was an arcade game and a toy tie-in to the show. I can tell it was definitely inspired by Buck Rogers

The arcade game is the actual series finale BTW.

I'd say, Ren and Stimpy, Cow and Chicken, Courage the Cowardly Dog.

I'm sure there's plenty of other weird cartoons...

Season 3 of Transformers is when it started getting weird for me LOL

This curious cartoon, people seems to remember it as a sort of Dora the Explorer show mixed with Veggietales, the weird thing... is the fact my VCR copies feels personalized compared to the regular copies, ¿Can someone tell if the same happens on your copies?

There was this cartoon I saw when I was younger, I can't remember much about it but the one thing I do remember was this scene where the main character(s?) were out in the fog and saw a giant in the distance, but as they got closer they became smaller, like they were always the same size in your view no matter the distance. It was like one of those images used to show perspective, where you have the same object placed at different points in the perspective and they either look really big or really small, but if you were to overlay them on top of each other they'd be the exact same size.

Never managed to find out what cartoon this was, pretty sure I didn't dream it or anything

Yeah... In Argentina we used to get a bunch of Belgium and English cartoons because of a special deal between Magic Kids, The BIG Channel, Tyco and some other companies. And they were great. Some of my favourites included:

It is so heartwarming to see italian dubs of 70s jap toons reached as far back as SOUTH AMERICA

Kappa Mikey felt like a fever dream

This is one of those really weird interesting shows. I remember as a kid waking up at like 3am with NickToons playing this. I've always kinda liked it.

Robotomy is easily high up on the list for me. This was basically just Superjail for kids with robots in highschool.

“Kid vs Kat” - Not that weird (but haven’t seen it in a long time) but now I associate all Sphynx with secretly being aliens.

Grossology is a truly bizarre show, don’t remember much about it. Pretty sure the whole point was to gross out its audience and teach them about nasty stuff. My brain blocked most of it out. All the episodes are free on YouTube

“Totally Spies”, so much fetish content… Though I do remember it being quite good, there’s just so much weird shit

I'm from the Ren & Stimpy generation, so it's a little tricky to even be sure what I consider 'weird'.

SuperTed is definitely an odd one, but it's such a fun kind of stupid.

I mean I could go with Street Sharks, Extreme Dinosaurs, Bikermice from Mars, Mightyducks or Captain Simian & the space monkeys.

You know, the TMNT clones.

But thats too easy. Lets go with some almost lost media:
Prince of Atlantis, 1997. No home media release. it's been off air since 2000? I think that was the last documented broadcast.

Wulin Warriors. I had to search the name of this cartoon, I just remembered it as that strange puppet cartoon that showed up once on Cartoon Network, weirded me out, and never reappeared again. Apparently it was just a really shitty dub of Pili, which is pretty famous in Taiwan and has been going on since the 80s.

When I was really young I remember one single scene from this cartoon where a kid was told not to open a door and he did anyway and all this darkness shit came out.

Was it a Jesus cartoon? I honestly have no idea. For some reason I just remember that one scene.
