I like them too till....I find they done 27% of main damage and have 5.5 time less for their class

Throw them in air like piece of paper. Make pancake by heids knight in ds2. 10 shot a boss(fume knight) with a single lightning buff and great lighting hammer.
Who can say no to this powerful monsters?

I did Kendo for years, so I have a bias towards katana.

Greatswords and halberds carried me in the Dark Souls series. Also my favorite options for other games are assault rifles, shotguns, explosives, giant lasers, regular sized swords, bows, axes, and any sort of magic.

Playing stuff like Dark Souls and Baulder's Gate 1 & 2, I almost always go for weapons held in two hands (shout out to the zweihander), I just prefer putting a few extra points into my health or wearing bigger armor to shields. In basically all my first playthroughs of Souls games I go for an Ultra Greatsword (Berserk left an impact on me lol), and it's always a great time.

Halberds deserve a mention too, they're my favorite DnD/BG weapon, very cool and very versatile with both slashing and piercing damage.
