I wanted to keep being able to download ROMs and I thought it would be fun to join a forum.

Part of the reason was so that I could keep using the repository that I had been using at various times throughout the years and the other was that I saw the announcement for ᏟDᏒ ending and I felt thankful for using ᏟDᏒ so I created an account.

I have been a long time lurker in various forums, but I have never really posted anything on one before. So far I've been enjoying being a non-lurker on here.

I had been using ᏟDᏒ for a couple months when the update came. I found my way here and saw that its formatted like the forums of old, something I missed out on in my youth. I made an account and have enjoyed this forum ever since.

I learned about ᏟDᏒ following Vimm removing some of their roms at the order of corporations. I really appreciate the pre-patched stuff that gets posted here.

I'm normally a deeply anxious person when it comes to online communities, content to simply lurk. Yet here, I actually felt encouraged enough to start writing! This place is truly one of a kind!

I’m here because of The Repo, I’m one of those refugees from ᏟDᏒ. Sucks to see the site go though, the name of the site (ᏟDᏒ) was so cool.

This forum seems to be lively though. This is my forst post here. It’s pretty cool to see a lively forum like how it was back in the days, with how Reddit has been taking over old-school forum sites.

Agreed. Some subjects don't belong universally; it's not censorship, it's good sense.

Besides my basic answer of "I've used Nitroblog and CDR a lot before this" I really wasn't interested in the Forum at all. I just made an account for the Repo. But I decided that if I have to make an account I might as well use it. And it's been a great decision so far. Everyone here is funny as hell and make interesting conversation. It really appeals to my autistic need to over discuss things. And honestly, I've always felt bad that I never got to experience forums way back when they were still the main thing on the internet due to me being like 6. This feels almost exactly the way people describe the forums of the golden age.
