WASD vs. Arrow keys

I'm left-handed so I cycle between WASD when playing Fighting Games and Arrow Keys when playing Action games and the rest.

For me The 2D Gaming Numeric Keypad
(Num 8), (Num 4), (Num 2), , (Num 6). But in 3D games it can vary.

W,A,S,D was used for Ultimate DOOM and DOOM II, arrow keys was used for Flashback. That's how it was on my Mac.

I used to break my hands as a kid just to use arrow keys and mouse
Now I use WASD like an adult

WASD every time. It's just so much more natural, lets me rest my arm better on the table. Arrow keys make my hand hurt after a while, from "hovering" it instead. I used to use arrow keys for some emulators and stuff like pokemon or shmups but now, if I'm playing something that doesn't go with WASD+mouse, I just grab a controller. In fact, most of my PC gaming lately has been with a controller in hand, I only really go KBM if I'm playing an FPS or RTS game, where it's obviously superior.

I played so many flash games in my childhood that I can do both
But for 2D games and fighting games I use arrow keys or numpad
For FP view I use WASD
But generally when I emulated or play a game that I don't have to use a mouse I use my Hori 6 button fighting controller, it's pretty great for old games
Unfortunately my controller with two analogs has broken

I tried to play Doom with arrow keys and no mouse look. HMP was okey, bu in UV strafing with alt button felt like playing CoD again, taking cover and stuff to not getting killed. Can't belive people played in NM like this.

For some plataforms with not many keys arrows and Z, X, C and space is fine, is the japanese way. But a gamepad is always the more responsive choice.

I usually use WASD for any pc game whenever I don't feel like using a controller for certain games like Terraria, tho I don't mind arrow keys as someone who grew up a ton with playing flash games.

I usually used WASD for most games if they allow it otherwise arrow keys works fine for me. For example in older RPGMaker games I'll have to settle for using arrow keys.
