Yeah, it felt real strange to me to dedicate time on a direct to something like this. It just makes for weird tone-deaf optics.
I don't think anyone but ironic collectors with way too much money would get this, and I think they know it which is why they're making it so obnoxiously expensive to even try the games.

The weird thing with these Directs is that there can be huge demographic whiplash when going from a kiddy game, to a mature game, to something like this. It's kind of overstimulating in a way.

RGT in general seems like one of the online communities where it's fair grounds to rag on every big vidya company. It's kind of refreshing to not have braindead console wars all the time.

Also people in general here seem able to separate video games from companies, which makes for better discussion on both ends, imo.

I mean, it's a nice thing to have this part of their library accessible for people who weren't there at the time or haven't sought it out via emulation, but I don't feel like it even registers as some forgotten curiosity with the majority of their audience?

You're better off just emulating these games through RetroArch. At least that let's you change the color palette to something that is a bit easier on the eyes.

The BS design of Virtual Boi intent to cause neck issues. You would think it will make Nintendo look bad but think again!!! Thus people will sue Nintendo for "it broke my neck" but Nintendo will win the lawsuits and take victims' money because "it's their problem and they used our console wrongly and on top of it they ruin our legal fair trading by making us look bad unfairly by making us lose profit illegally"!! Nintendo is so smartz!!!
