HOLY SHIT DUDE, The minute i made to the final level and i lost my save i just gave up. No fucking way am i going through all that punishment just to fight some shitty bullet sponge enemy.
At least Turok 1 had platforming and interesting level designs. The only saving grace from that horse shit is the gore and weapons.

Ah yes, for the real geeks that remember, the Episode 1's cutscene where we see Albedo being a bit weird with dead androids then proceeds to rip his head off. Censored & not gory but kinda fits into all that early 2000s weirdness.

Turok 1's jumping have some weird inertia tho, I got used to it but objectively Quake II from the same year had much better jump physics. Turok 2's ledge climbing in the remaster really helps.

I only got stuck in the cave level but I heard it was the worst of the bunch. Goldeneye and Perfect Dark are above them in my FPS list.


On the subject: Perfect Dark had a ton of blood compared to how Goldeneye seemed goofier with the deaths.

See, I love this one as it's a fatal version of Johnny's censored Fatality from MK1 on the SNES. Similar to making Liu Kang's one fantasy fatal too in MK11. ;)

Heck, I should share some of my favorite Fatalities from Mortal Kombat here. Pacifist monk or not, I still feel a neck-snap SFX for Liu's original finisher would've sufficed. I get the reasons why the fans handwaved why his original Fatality was just a flashy uppercut and not a proven killing blow, but still.
