Let's be real, revivals, be remakes, reboots or even a rom package... i mean a Legacy collection can cheer us since that means the companies remember that franchise even if we call foul on lack of originality, but sometimes the "Don't care" is genuine, which is your case?

Per usual, here's mine, Battletoads 2020, what happens when you revive a obscure series known for being unfair, make the enemies damage sponges and make the game look like a crappy flash series? you get Battletoads 2020, only good thing i can rescue is the plot being funny, but they abuse of the Lampshade Hanging trope and the metajokes can get grating over time

The new Turok game. Made me roll my eyes and tuck myself back into bed.
Let this series die already, no reason to bring it back just to try and milk something everyone just forgot it existed.

When I saw Utawarerumono Itsuwari no Kamen, and Futari No Hakuoro getting PC releases.

I was finally able to see how the Yamato arc ended, and see how much the anime of Itsuwari no Kamen had butchered.

I remember getting both on release day, and binging both in a week before college classes started, it was worth it.

I am grateful that Aquaplus decided that enough is enough and the series is over now.

Man, I remember how huge the backlash was when this game was announced. I think this is by far the most disliked Nintendo video. I wasn’t a Metroid fan back then, since I only started playing the series in 2017, but I clearly remember how pissed off the series’ fans were by this announcement, especially since this was the first Metroid to be announced in almost five years, considering that the last Metroid released was the controversial and reviled Other M (a game I don’t like either).

I've never played Federation Force, so I don't have an opinion on it, but I've heard it's really mediocre and lackluster.

At least this new game looks way more interesting than the other reboot from 2008. At least it has magic and mystical powers with the gun play. I am willing to give Turok Origins a chance. We still have the classics available on modern systems, so it is not the end of the world.
Anyone remembers when earthworm jim was supposed to come back with a fourth game for a console that never released? yeah this video explains the fanbase when saw that the game was exclusive for the Intellivision Amico
I never knew about that. I stopped being heavily invested with the franchise after 2, the cartoon adaption (really funny show), and Wild 9.

The 3D remake of Double Dragon II, Wander of the Dragons, released on XBLA and one of the shittiest remakes ever made. It looked like shit. Played like shit. And is the worse Double Dragon game ever made, outside of bad ports and Double Dragon III. You can't even buy the game anymore and it got delisted years ago. Good riddance. And some say Revive is bad; including some of the original developers from the older games. Yet they don't say damn thing about III, DD on Game Gear, or this piece of shit. Revive actually plays fun and looks like mostly better than WothD. Pretty much any of the new Double Dragon games are much better, available on most systems, and are way more fun or good looking.

Bubsy still being around is surprising. A franchise known for being below average and it's still getting new games. Bubsy 4D looks competently made at least.
Oh yeah, Bubsy 4D looks legit promising, It helps that it's being developed by a team known for making really good 3D platformers.

Metroid Prime 4 was way more interesting when it was in development hell

Look at the bright side, Metroid 2's remake and Dread washed down that piss shot

Also they wanted to make a new show, AFAIK it is as smoke as that game

Dat framerate

Also i believe by the time it was released, the infinitely better Double Dragon Neon was in the console too

Or really the fanbase in general. I don’t know who’s worse: the creator or the company with the Earthworm Jim IP. A grocery list of issues vs “we’re making an Earthworm Jim show! Nah we’re lying it’s for NFTs.”

Neon came out one year before that remake in 2012. Which makes the decision even more baffling, because someone signed off, and approved of this at Arc System.

Both can rot in hell and have their flesh consumed by Fleming and his VIPs.

That's a toughie, as every game that I don't care for never really died, and everything that came back I was super hyped for. I hear a lot of people saying "Bubsy" as if that ever mattered. Like, could you really call it a comeback if nobody ever gave a fuck when you were around?

Maybe Sparking ZERO? I mean, when your already spoiled by shit like Fighter Z and Xenoverse, the Tenkaichi series doesn't seem so special anymore.

This is a more niche one, but Dissidia had two good games and then fell apart with the recent releases like Duellum, turning the franchise into a pay-to-win mobile game.
A niche one, but 100% understandable! I loved the Dissidia duology on PSP, but everything after that makes me sad e.e

Croc Remastered

The first Croc while having fans it is the "X at home" of Rayman 2, Crash and Spyro, played it as a kid, realized it had Tank Controls and i made my best Nerd inpression by asking "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!?" before shoving it back in its envelope and never touch it again

The remaster fix the tank controls for normal controls but it is still bland compared to the modern Collectathon alternatives
