Let me explain myself. When i'm tired (and many times pissed) of the problems, people and everylife tasks. One of my best methods to relieve stress is play the best thrash metal I got, turn the volume up to maximun y play Doom 2016 or Twisted Metal, resulting in a rush of violence and adrenaline that becomes very satisfying and even therapeutic.
So, do you guys do something similar? What do you do? and what game or games do you play?

I would say its a good way to relieve your stress and just turn frustration into fun
I personally like to play action and faster games to do so, namely I really enjoy playing Ultrakill or Dead Cells for that. Its a very good way to put your mind somewhere else

Stress relief is for the weak. I just suppress my anger and frustration until I inevitably reach the tipping point and do something I'll regret later.
Not sure if you do. I mean, can the bee-gaman feel anger?::thinking

I like death metal, and I've been on a solo project since 2015. I've made some money with it, and it's also a really cool stress reliever as well. I highly recommend you make your own band and start doing music with it. Get an electric guitar, a cheap audio interface, and some cheap dynamic mic, and you are good to start. Making music and something that anyone can listen to is like you won at life.

Actually, I just started a thrash metal band last month and we have been composed music since then. Even we got a name.

Either drawing, going for walks, or if it's late at night maybe a lil 5-on-1, gnome sane?

I don't like playing vidya or making music when I'm stressed out, because it usually distracts too much so I just lose focus and motivation.
Drawing works in any mood for me though, but that's probably because it's my main creative outlet.

I mean, every violent game I play is accompanied by the stress of being challenging, but yeah, killing people in videogames is fun.

Some of these games for me are Star Fox 64, F-Zero X, Hotline Maimi 1 and 2 and Blip & Blop Balls of Steel.

There was a particular moment for me in Hotline Miami 2 however, which is when you unlock the flamethrower in your second playthrough, which is a very satisfying weapon to use because it immediately sends whoever you use it on in a complete state of panic and terror as they aren't unable to do anything except run aimlessly and defenseless for the last seconds of their pathetic lives. This works immediately on heavy weight characters too.

I defend the idea that flamethrower should always be an OP weapon.

EDIT: Power tripping at the end of Metroid Zero Mission was pretty satisfying too.

I prefer pulling off insane martial arts combos on people across the internet to a playlist of my compilation of the game's level themes and injected into the game with a program, usually a playlist structured after a certain game or anime's soundtrack/themes

There are a few games I prefer to beat people in online all day

Something satisfying about blasting unsuspecting Megaman X players on MMXOD until they complain and vote kick you from room

Also fun to whoop people's asses in an online fighting game called Rumble Fighter while they try to win and get RM so they can kick you and any other decently-skilled players from the room

I don't, I'd bash their head in and/or destroy the source of my frustration with extreme prejudice.
Then I play games.

I do this a fair bit too. There's something oddly meditative about a lot of ultra-violent action games. The modern Ninja Gaiden games and 90s era FPS like Doom, Quake, and Blood are my personal favorites for this.

Don't get angry that much, I tend to get depressing and either look to create or cozy with farm sims to feel wanted, needed or successful in just daily tasks of the game because it's mainly me losing the idea of purpose or at least doing something right. Anger is probably dished in turn based tactics with flashy spells or moves to give me the awe and instant satisfaction of a curb stomp battle with a roar of battle music I've loved for years.

Unfortunately when I'm stressed or on a really bad mood there's not really a lot of stuff that helps, I just have to go through it until it passes. Most of the times I just end up doomscrolling while maybe listening to some music

Usually, if i'm feeling a lot of ill will or frustration with life, i just boot up Hotline Miami 2, the sheer violence and difficulty almost sends me into a zen like state of peace, because i really need to "lock in" to beat them properly, Dead Ahead, Death Wish and Release are my go to levels for this, they're overwhelming enough to fulfill what i look for and the music gets loud enough to make me forget the world.

Almost like its releasing all my troubles away.

I usually go for a short walk, catch the bus, get lunch/dinner and sit there working on my book if not reading manga. When I do get home, I just drop myself into anything. RPG, Hack/Slash, loot shooter, VN and just play until I wear myself down and go to bed. I mean no one else is thinking about me and my issues so why should I bother worrying at all?

Even though I like modern ninja gaiden, I don't consider them in those situations cause they're difficult, and it would only make me more angry.::bonzistares
