I'm not sure if anybody made this thread yet but what are some video game references in other media you know?
My personal favorite is Jessica cosplaying Marisa in Umineko.

Not to be that guy, but SCUD was a comic before the Saturn game came out.
That is a funny easter egg.

Cult MTV cartoon Undergrads had a whole episode that took place inside a game of Quake 3. In fact, it might just be the best episode of the series – the ending rules. Also, I couldn't find a screenshot of it, but trust me: a side character dresses up as Ulala from Space Channel 5 in a Halloween episode.

And speaking of Ulala and MTV, I actually remember catching one of those little interstitial promos that she hosted on the network! She really should have become a more prominent character in the media of the 2000s – she would have been a great host of her own music video show. Tell Miku to hit the fucking bricks!

-Nanami in Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair makes a reference on the second case
-Henry Stickmin - Escaping the Prison: You can call a lawyer and a sequence will play out where you play as Felix White (lol) and build a case to get Henry out of prison
-I think Yuruyuri has a very slight reference in one of the early episodes where Sakurako and Himawari are first shown
-Also a reference in a Lucky Star doujinshi called Lucky Point, where Konata has a dream about Kagami being a lawyer and defending her in a court, while she is shown in the typical Phoenix pointing-finger pose.
