Sometimes, if a video game is really good, the devs will offer you a pet in the game. Sometimes its for flavor and just stays at home, other times the pet is part of a vital mechanic or an addition to your party. So, share your favorite video game pets! If we don't see D-Dog or D-Horse posted 700 times this thread is a failure.

Pet her properly, she leads me to free items and brings home good items; I've amassed more than a dozen Shock Traps and Farcasters (both awesome hunting tools) due to her efforts

Rush Jet is the first instance of this for me. Being able to hop aboard your robo pup, and skip a healthy chunk of an annoying level will never stop being great.

Well you can't pet pascal it disappeared after bossfight in house.
This thread remind me Nintendo dog (*forget it's name because I never had*)
I'm not a fan of pets but I like games let you have animals as pets.
