Video game OST that you feel is in the wrong game?

I don’t know if it’s ever been officially confirmed but as a musician it always sounded to me like it’s playing the wrong instrument and/or missing effects. For example if you arrange a guitar part in midi and then change the instrument to a piano it may sound like total crap. How no one caught this before release is a different question but I’m fairly certain this wasn’t what it was supposed to sound like originally.

Talking about epically unfitting soundtracks, I give you intelligent qube, aka kurushi.

Great game, but the soundtrack feels like it should be in a game like shadow of the colossus instead. I’m not complaining though.

I really like that OST but the demo only having the sound effects with a reverb is much better.

Ngl playing the demo without the music, just the sound of the inescapable cubes rolling towards you totally freaked me out as a kid. It felt like a horror game at the time so I’m thankful for the epic score by Takayuki Hattori who also did several Godzilla movies which explains the vibes.
