[GVSE]

I have the habit of, when i'll be for a long time on a call or something boring like that, to scroll through an specific board on 4chan focused on people posting wallpapers (yeah, that shit, but i sear that is for this only board). What i hate there is there are always tons of porn, hentai and nazi posts... anyway, the thing is that i have this folder on my computer with thousands of images that roll every minute as a wallpaper, and i like to keep collecting more.

I wonder if we could use this space to share nice images we find online that could be nice videogame wallpapers!

I'll start sharing some. They can be official papes, fan arts, screenshots... and i'd like to ask you to share yours, specially if any of you have a wallpaper that is a crop or adaptation of pretty box arts.

Hey, I like going on /wg/, too! Along with /gd/, it's easily my favourite 4chan board, and probably the only one that hasn't gone massively downhill over the past decade. ANYWHOOOOOO...

I don't usually do video game wallpapers, but here are a few either created by or based on the work of Rolito, the French artist who did the artwork for Sony's Patapon series (and directly inspired the series through his character design):

The Patapon titles have some of the my fave visuals in any video game, and I always really loved the way they looked on the PSP screen. Like many PSP games, they completely ignored what video games usually looked like in favour of their own graphical style, which make them very distinct (and, in my opinion, gorgeous) to this day. Rolito doesn't work in video games any more (Patapon was the only series he was ever involved with), but every now and then I'll see some of his work online and fall in love all over again. If he ever makes an artbook, why, I'll buy the heck out of it.

Some I cropped from Pedro Soares restorations at twitter/bluesky! It's offensive to crop/deform these artworks? I think so! But it's what I needed to do in order to have them working as wallpapers in my computer.
