so its ogre battle like?
Not at all. The battles in Venus & Braves are extremely tactical. Everything depends on the place of every character, kind of a chess game, but dividing it in two, attack and defense. Everytime you have a battle is like an event, and you know more or less what the enemy will do, so you have to prepare for it. The first row attacks and deals with damage, and the subsequent rows heal or support. Depending who you pair with who in a row, you will get different results, because in addition to stats, you have age and exhaustion. Some characters are not bound to age, as they are immortal, but most of them do. And every turn you have the chance to move rows or stay the same formation.

At the begining, this system is confusing and quite challenging, but the game isn't too difficult, so it balances in some way.

I've seen some people complaining about the battle system, and since it's something you won't see in any other game, besides 7 Molmorth no Kiheitai, I suggest you give it a try and have a little of patience :).

Still waiting for an english patch for this game, its PSP port and Seven: Molmorth no Kiheitai (this game's prequel).
Finally. This game is a masterpiece, the intro is the best intro I've seen in a game together with the background music and everything in Venus and Braves is lovely made.

Seven Molmorth no Kiheitai is already english translated:

But the problem is that you won't get the complete story, as this game has a second chapter that was released for mobile only, together with the expanded story of the first installment, called Seven: Thousand War.

Thank you very much for posting this one Teone :)
